Shenseea Grows Tired Of Romeich Dating Rumors, “That’s My Bro, Honestly”
Dancehall starlet Shenseea is at her wit’s end with the rumor that she and her manager Romeich Major are dating. In another plea with fans yesterday Shenseea asked that they stop assuming that she and Romeich are in a secret love affair.
It seems no matter how many times Shenseea or Major try to deny the rumors the fans seem to think they are keeping their relationship under wraps in fear that it might affect her career or perhaps taint her free-and-disengaged celeb appeal.
Now with the arrival of Romeich’s new baby girl the rumors have taken on a whole new plot and one that is marred with cheating and lies. The music manager posted the first pic of his daughter, Skye Major, on Instagram yesterday intentionally covering her face and wrote in the caption:
“Happy Friday from my little munchkin 😍❣💕💞💕💞❣❣😍 Hi Instagram family meet my daughter #SKYEMAJOR.”

Shenseea seemed slightly bummed that Romeich didn’t show her face in the photo, so responded, “Nice to meet her legs and hands 🙄 ya gwaan til me post r face 😈,” in the comments. Romeich then jokingly responded “😂😂😂😂😂😂 hey hey hey lol.”
The comments that followed however would reveal just how convinced the world is that these two were in the middle of a sarcastic exchange. “Him cheat on the sweetest woman ever 😱😱,” said one person tagging Shenseea.
Others immediately went on to ‘assume’ (or so they say) that both Romeich and Shenseea had the birth of Skye all planned out from the very beginning and in fact share parentage having hired a surrogate. One fan told Shenseea to just go right ahead and post Skye’s face, “@shenseea put up u daughter face yes we know say a rent unu rent the girl womb,” she wrote.
Another person jeeringly asked, “A when sheng breed?” to kick off the gossips full speed ahead, “Them rent a girl womb, she neva want the media to see her with belly and she and no wah f-ck up her body,” answered one well abreast (but not really) informant.
Another perplexed follower wasn’t buying the surrogacy chitchat but was rather convinced he cheated on Shen so decided to tag and ask Romeich for herself, “@romeichentertainment nice…. but did you n @shenseea have a surrogate? Caz i cant understand how yu 1 suh brite n get pickney outside of the relationship. U are not the first but yu brite bad.”
The conversations by then were simply getting too much for the ShengYeng princess. She screenshot the very bizarre question to Romeich and responded to it in her Instagram Story, “Can we please move past this rumor now, @romeichentertainment and I are not in a relationship, that’s my bro, honestly and that’s my God child. Thanks.”’
Shenseea has been incomplete bliss ever since Romeich announced that he was expecting a baby girl earlier this month. She wasted no time letting everyone know that she was Skye’s Godmother, “That’s my goddaughter y’all,” was one of several other excited references she made in her IG Stories when Skye was born. In all her excitement she revealed she wanted to be the first to introduce her Goddaughter to the world.
“Think I’m going to take the first picture and put it on the ‘Gram and say, ‘This is my baby y’all’, tek it weh from Romeich,” she continued. “Him nah get fi post the first picture. Mi a thief it,” she said.
It no big surprise Romeich chose the Dancehall songbird to take such an important role in his daughter’s life. Since she joined the Romeich Entertainment family some four years ago, Romeich has gushed in the media that he has nothing but love and admiration for Shenseea even taking on a full-blown father-figure role for her son Rajiero. He recently admitted in an interview on the Odyssey, Untold Stories with host Yendi Phillips that if it wasn’t for signing Shenseea back when he did, he would have given up on the music biz and sold all his studio equipment a long time ago.
It’s interesting how an instance of the butterfly effect has turned his life around, Shenseea is arguably Dancehall’s hottest female act today and she doesn’t seem to be slowing any time soon. In essence, Romeich is as in-demand as ever; his clothing line Romiech Wear (@romeichwear) has taken off and his Romeich Entertainment brand has expanded into other ventures including video production and photography (@romeichent.tv), PR services (@romeichentpr), and radio (@romeichentliveradio).
Shenseea’s debut album is “loading” with plans of dropping any time soon. She has an upcoming feature on Sean Paul’s album Scorcher coming this May with American singer Gwen Stefani on a Reggae-rock single called Light My Fire. She also teased a possible collab with American singer H.E.R., who revealed last month that her upcoming EP will feature a number of Reggae acts. Back in February, Shen was also spotted making music in the studio with U.S. rapper Lil Tjay, so fans can stay tuned.
