Sean Paul’s Wife Jodi Jinx Says The Dancehall Star Has Never Cheated …To Her Knowledge
Would you keep a cheating husband? That was one of the questions wife of Dancehall superstar Sean Paul, Jodi ‘Jinx’ Henriques, responded to in her latest YouTube vlog.
In the Friday, April 23 video, Henriques said responding to the question, posed by a viewer of her channel, was a difficult task as she had no knowledge of her husband of nearly a decade ever cheating.
“Ummm… I think it is hard to answer that question because to my knowledge, it is not a position I’ve been in ummm …You know it was like the other day we’re talking – Traci (her sister) and I were talking about what you would do if gunman come in your house, you know. You’re like well, I would run for the knife and first thing I would do would be blah, blah,blah” said Henriques, who sought to explain the difficulty with hypothetical situations.
“You don’t know what you would do in that situation, you know what I mean. So, it is all well and good that you say, ‘yeah man, we would a stand up there with my gun finger and seh weh yuh a go but? Ummm, yeah, this is a hard one to answer,” Jodi added.
In seeking to provide an answer, despite the difficulty, she suggested that certain things would factor into her decision-making, such as “is he in love with the girl,” “is it like a multiple cheat thing, “was it a one time thing”.
While noting that none of the factors she listed would make cheating okay, Henriques said that she was genuinely unsure of what she would do.
“I honestly don’t know, I don’t know what I would do, could I like half forgive him? Yea, I dunno,” she said. “Cause I want to say No. And you know bad gyal me woulda pick up my things and leff but I dunno.”
She’s not insecure
Henriques also answered a question about being insecure, particularly when the Temperature singer tours abroad and women throw themselves at him.
According to the always humorous Henriques, whenever such feelings come her coping strategy is to check her Scotia account. “I just log on to Scotiabank Jamaica and just check my balance,” she joked.
She continued, “I’m not a insecure person at all, whatsoever. I’m not saying that there hasn’t been times where I’ve seen certain things and I am like hmmmm …but at the end of the day I’m secure in my relationship and what we have agreed to, and what we want from each other.”
“It hard to answer these questions because I don’t want to seem like I am … just had the word… naïve; I don’t want to seem like I am naïve or like I am swearing for anyone because I am not,” she added.
Sean Paul, 48, tied the knot with Jodi “Jinx” Stewart, 38, at a private ceremony in Stony Hill in 2012. They share two kids, Levi and Remi.
