Gyptian Jets Off To Florida For His First US show In Several Months
International Reggae star Gyptian jetted off the island this morning to do his first performance in the US in almost 18 months.
“I am looking forward to performing my fans again in Florida, it’s going to be a great show,” Gyptian said.
He will be performing at a show dubbed VIP Weekend on May 2nd at the Karu venue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Yanique Curvy Diva will also be performing on show as well. Boom Boom and Harry Hype from Jamaica, DJ Kidd and DJ Entourage from New York, and other selectors will also perform at the event.
Gyptian’s bookings are handled by Tameka Reynolds of Free People Entertainment.
Audiences are hungry for art, music and human connection as they have been cooped up in their homes for over a year because of the pandemic. Many people have been wondering how long these extreme disruptions to daily life will last as the pandemic deepens, but Florida is one of those states that is pushing back to normalcy fairly quickly.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention eased its guidelines Tuesday on the wearing of masks outdoors, saying fully vaccinated Americans don’t need to cover their faces anymore unless they are in a big crowd of strangers.
And those who are unvaccinated can go outside without masks in some cases, too.
The new guidance represents another carefully calibrated step on the road back to normal from the coronavirus outbreak that has killed over 570,000 people in U.S.
