After a 2-week hiatus from Instagram Dancehall starlet Jada Kingdom returned on the platform to rumors that she had attempted suicide and was subsequently hospitalized in an Atlanta hospital.

Jada, 23, addressed the chatter online and clapped back at the claims in a recent Instagram Live. “This rumor was going around, saying I was in the hospital, that I tried to commit suicide, that’s a lie. That’s a f–king lie,” she insisted with her followers that tuned in.

With everything that has been going on with her lately, from the lawsuit with her former manager to previous weight loss criticism, the Banana singer said she just needed a break. “I needed a social media detox and I took a 2-week break and that was the best two weeks of my f–king life. You guys should try it,” she continued.

The rumor mill didn’t stop there; Jada also spoke out about other gossips that suggested she had undergone plastic surgery. She went on, “Shape-good run in a the family. Wi never just walk and just pick it up suh. Ah God gi wi. So it did unda deh aready. Girl did just thicka dan she fi thick and gyal did look nice from morning. Period!”

She pointed out that several individuals bombarded her with conversations that she had done work on her stomach. “So everybody inna mi inbox a talk bout how mi do surgery pon mi stomach, f–k you!.”

It appears the plastic surgery rumors were a spinoff of the weight loss criticism she was dealt prior with many speculating that she was doing drugs. She disputed those claims, saying, “If losing all that weight means I’m sniffing coke then call me coke head Twinkle caz I LOVE IT HERE! 💃🏽☺ neva been this happy. #2yearsoffighting I worked hard for this…”

Jada’s “2 years of fighting” refers to a drastic change in her diet due to a diabetes diagnosis she received back in 2016, which now owes to her healthier lifestyle practices that include committing to a pescatarian diet, also occasional liquid diets, and just overall eating better.

It appears living with bipolar depression not only made her the least bit concerned about her poor eating habits back then but also had her entertaining suicidal thoughts. “I was ready to die,” she admitted. But thanks to her now-boyfriend Verse Simmonds, she wouldn’t be where she is today.
