Skillibeng had the last laugh after Nicki Minaj mentioned late last night on Instagram Live that his Crocodile Teeth hit was among three songs she remixed and placed on her new mixtape, a re-release of her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty.

Last night, Nicki confirmed Beam Me Up Scotty would finally be released on major streaming services, and would include a new track called Fractions, Seeing Green featuring Drake and Lil Wayne, and that she had done a remix of Crocodile Teeth.

“We wanted to add a couple other things to get you guys excited about the re-release of the mixtape and what I did was, I added a couple joints.  So, I did a remix of Crocodile Teeth and then I did a record called fractions…,” she said.

Having vanquished his detractors, Skillibeng, who had been attacked by rampaging Minaj’s fans who had complained that they were disappointed that she was coming out of her self-imposed hiatus just to do a collaboration with someone they deemed to be an “unknown”, unarchived his reposted his Crocodile Teeth artwork featuring his and Minaj’s name.

Mjnaj is no stranger to Dancehall collabs.  Her first was a remix of with Gyptian on his cross-over hit Hold You.  She has also collaborated with Sean Kingston for Letting Go (Dutty Love) in 2010 and voiced Gun Shot featuring Beenie Man in 2012.

But last Night after Minaj mentioned on her live IG feed, that Crocodile Teeth was featured on the mixtape, Skilli’s fans rushed to her YouTube channel to listen to the track, pushing the video to being the second-most viewed on the mixtape behind the Drake/Lil Wayne collab.

As they cheered many of them took time out to castigate those who had jeered the Hot artist and refer to him as a clout chaser.

“For all the people who was making fun of Skillibeng when he said they were making a remix with Nicki saying how she don’t even know him…Look at dem now…Easy! unuh nuh think seh Nicki know seh 16Bun Up Bwoy Skin🔥,” Myz Terry wrote.

“Some a unnuh a hypocrite a unnuh same one did a talk bout a hype the artist a look when him post the pic pon eh gram but all the real esyde fans weh believe inna skillibeng big up unnuh self,” another fan said.

The original Beam Me Up Scotty project was released in April 2009, and marked Nicki’s third mixtape, and consisted of 23 tracks, contributions from Drake, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Busta Rhymes and Rihanna.

Today on Twitter, Minaj made several other posts promoting the mixtape.

“Thank you so much for fkn w|me on live yall. #BeamMeUpScotty out now. #SeeingGreen with DRAKE & LIL WAYNE out NOW.   #Fractions is out NOW.  #CrocodileTeethREMIX out NOW,” she wrote in one post.

Some of Nicki’s fans though, felt that with the quality of the Crocodile Teeth riddim, and Skilli’s remarkable delivery of the lyrics, she did not do justice to the track with her verse.

“I wish she went a little bit harder. The beat is so fire. I expected her to murder it,” Shae said.

“Nicki coulda murdered that track but it’s still all good…happy for skillibeng,” Hasafa said.

Crocodile Teeth is trending on Twitter and where the Skilli victory memes have also been rolling in.

Eight hours ago fans noted that Crocodile Teeth had risen on the iTunes charts and was finally being given the pride of place that it deserves.
