Bounty Killer Confronts Mr. Vegas, Takes On More Alkaline Fans On Instagram

Mr Vegas Bounty Killer
Mr Vegas, Bounty Killer

Even as he launched another broadside against Bounty Killer for “tearing down” Alkaline, Mr. Vegas was taken to task on Wednesday, by some of his Instagram followers, for his role in similarly belittling and engaging in feuds with a slew of other younger Dancehall artists over the years.

Vegas’ post also, surprisingly, saw Bounty Killer storming over to the Nike Air artist’s IG page to accuse him of being duplicitous and hurl abuses at him and Vendetta fans, who were tagging Killer in provocative comments.

On Wednesday, in continuing his diatribe against Bounty Killer, Mr. Vegas had posted an image of Alkaline, Masicka, and Skillibeng, and said that he was promoting unity over divisiveness, in an implicit jab at the Long Donkey Cod artiste.

“When you remove the names, you see 3 brothers! 3 kings! 3 is infinite! Hate is a disease! Love is winning! It’s a new day! Eradicate divisiveness!,” he wrote in a seeming attempt to differentiate himself from Bounty Killer and his anti-Alkaline stance.

In another post today that promoted unity, Vegas also highlighted Lady Saw, Spice, and Shenseea, saying that they were “3 beautiful souls that came from the plantation. 3 in 1 and 1 in 3. Love is winning! Hate lose again! ”

While most of Vegas’ fans heaped praises on him, there were others who accused him of not only being two-faced but lacking the moral authority to comment on issues of division in Dancehall, as he himself was a perpetrator.

Over the years, Mr. Vegas has been accused of launching attacks on the Unruly Boss Popcaan and his friend Drake, even going as far as to record two diss songs aimed at the duo, in 2016 including Born Leader .

Vegas has also had contention with I-Octane, former Main Street artist Red Rat and has mocked Lady Saw, following her conversion to Christianity.  He even held a mock funeral for her in 2020.  He has also had recent tiffs with Hawkeye another Main Street artist, his former friend Tyrical as well as former Windies cricketer, now Dancehall artist Marlon Samuels, who goes by the name Icon.

In pointing out Vegas’s guilt of being an instigator of division, richard8ight7even6ix, said he ought to lead by setting the same example he was demanding of others.

“If you are saying artist should unite, you should start the example by showing it, remember you and some other artists is not on a good level right about now.at least 3 artist now that you n them not good,” richard8ight7even6ix said in his rebuke of Mr. Vegas.

Another follower, dancehallking_, in pointing out some of Vegas’ recent feuds with other artists, told the former Greensleeves artist that he had a low level of tolerance for any double-dealing behaviour from him. “@mrvegasmusic Unite with Red Rat and Hawkeye and build a new song.   Lead the youths by example inna real life and not internet posts. You are artists are gonna start being held accountable!” he rebuked.

In response, Vegas told @dancehallking_ that: “Yu nuh haffi do song to show support”. However, the follower countered by affirming that while the artiste has a point, as a musician, uniting in song was “the greatest display of unity and support”.

In trying to clear himself, Vegas told @dancehallking_ that “brotherly love is more important fam”.  However, the follower stood his ground,  pointing out that the same energy which he used to make various types of posts could be better used collaborating with his musical compatriots in the studio.

“@mrvegasmusic Respectfully I agree Mr. V genuine brotherly love in first.   However The Most High gifted you brothers with musical talent. That is your ray of light you all project and get worldwide attention from.  Now you all can use energy to go online and say all kinda things good bad and indifferent. I simply don’t over stand why that same energy can’t be used to generate some great music if brotherly love genuinely exists,” he said.

Bounty Says Vegas Is A Band-Wagonist.

Hours later, Bounty Killer, having gotten wind that his name was the subject of discussion, stormed over to Vegas page to retaliate, after another of Alkaline’s fans blessing_vendetta, heaped praises on Vegas, tagged the Warlord and noted: “Thank God Vegas, yuh nuh think the way @grunggaadzilla think 🙌🙌”.

When Vegas accepted the compliment and replied: “@blessing_vendetta Keep praying. Love will win,” the Warlord went on the warpath, pointing out that Vegas was simply a band-wagonist.

“@blessing_vendetta Some fish cyaah post ntn about themselves bcuz nobody nuh waah hear bout dem why not post a artiste that has no buzz or unknown never but is bcuz dem few ya has a fan base fish a try capitalize post a nobody who really needs the highlight nuh Usher Dem Out👈🏿😂🤣😅🥲,” he jeered.

As the “tracing match continued” there were accusations of sexual deviance brought into the equation, among other things.   As accusations rained on Bounty about him being cantankerous, he took aim at Vegas for being fake due to his recent support for artists doing dubplates for trifling politicians in the last general elections.

“Big b-tty b-tch witch fish that mind game the f_ggot playing dawg wah day when mi say artiste should not do dubplate for politician who did more to the music than for the music what di fassy did do him didn’t want no unity then so what happen now all of a sudden?” he stated to one follower.

Bounty then added:  “Chuck inna dem mumma bcuz fish a try sell album now he is so all into unity mi and dem not from the same community I choose immunity😂😂😂,” he jeered.

The Poor People Governor jumped under another post after rich_team_promotion praised Vegas for setting a “good example for Bounty Killer to follow” and tagged the Coppershot artiste.

“Mi wish @grunggaadzilla could look at this business the way u are looking at it dancehall would be better and it would be a great example set fi di youths of Jamaica that unity is a mighty strength and division is weakness.well done @mrvegasmusic,” he wrote.

Bounty sardonically responded:  “@rich_team_promotion Unuh gwaan go unite and let me see then nuh☝🏿,’ later adding: “Go ahead gwaan start nuh what u waiting for me to join fi mi gun nuh joing lodge😂😂😂” after, rich_team_promotion pressed the issue saying that whilst he was respected by the younger generation they were upset with him due to the manner in which he was behaving.

The Calaloo Bed native took a final swing before making his exit from Vegas’ page after doksilence_abenic took a swipe at him.

“@grunggaadzilla I think batty killer is on weed 😂😂😂😂… general can’t style fellow yute ….I beginning to believe what @mrvegasmusic said that u just a badmind Babylon Bootykiller or Batty killer 😂,” he wrote, to which Bounty responded:  “@doksilence_abenic Gwaan believe inna yu man dem who it’s affecting tiki tiki🎣👈🏿”.
