Dalton Harris Reveals Italian Partner On TikTok

The UK X Factor winner Dalton Harris is blissfully in love, now revealing his Italian beau for everyone to see on TikTok yesterday.

The Jamaican-born singer has been keeping his love life low-key ever since he came out as pansexual in October last year. So it was a pretty big surprise when he shared a touching TikTok reel showing a few candid moments with his partner to the tune of Paravi Das’s Cloud 9 playing in the background.

The chosen lyrics for the official reveal were, “I hate all men, but when he loves me, I feel like I’m floating/ when he calls me pretty, I feel like somebody/ even when we fade eventually to nothing/ you will always be my favorite form of loving.”

Clips of the reel showed Harris in-tote with a gift heading to see his boyfriend, who then opens it all smiles, and proceeds to bend over and supposedly thank him with a kiss. Another cute clip followed with Harris recording his fella as he records their dog while walking in the street. And in the end, they share a tender moment.

Ever since Dalton announced he was pansexual last year, he has had some positive feedback from his fans, “I am overwhelmed by the love. For those that experience similar challenges and reached out keep fighting and thank you for being here and continuing to hang in there,” he said on Instagram at the time. And continued, “It all leads back to LOVE. And it starts with ME.”

Now that he has taken things a step further to show the world his new beau, Dalton was faced with some snarky comments from a few IG followers. One, in particular, suggested the relationship could be some kind of ploy for a UK citizenship.

“UK citizenship by any means necessary,” said the individual in a now-deleted comment, which had attracted over 350 likes.

Harris, however, chose to not ignore the statement; he smugly clapped back to point out that his partner is Italian and not British.“He’s Italian. I don’t date for favors. Not even in the court of public opinion,” he wrote in the comments. Further adding, “You just want somen wrong fi be true, don’t. You sad but wish you all the best.”

Harris, who won Digicel Rising Star in 2010 and subsequently signed with VP Records, shot to stardom after winning the fifteenth season of The X Factor in the United Kingdom in 2018. He was accused of being gay when a photo was snapped with him sitting in the lap of fellow male X Factor contestant Brendan Murray. He maintained tight-lipped about the issue, often stating that his sexuality was a private matter.

When he finally came out, Harris expressed how pleased he was that he was able to bring awareness to pansexuality in Jamaica. “The term ‘Pansexual” was googled a record amount of times in Jamaica. Always good to help educate & spread awareness & acceptance,” he said.
