Dancer-turned-Dancehall artist Pretty Pretty has out aired out the trolls who have been harassing her, since her December split with rising Dancehall deejay I Waata.

In a lengthy Instagram Story post yesterday, the former Team Spice member, whose real name is Tashlicka Laird, opened up about the split publicly for the first time, as a photo of I Waata, his new baby and another woman made the rounds on social media.  Pretty Pretty addressed the users who had been tagging her and sending her messages about the viral ‘family’ photo.

“I will not take my phone and bring down anybody.  Me stop dem things deh longtime and for all the fake pages sending me stuff about these people life and relationship like am here doing me stop calling my name with the ni–a,” she began.

“We are not together in the name of Jesus and me know unu no blind. It’s been 6 months now and unu still a torment me like unu wah me go live and class everybody and reveal some a unu.”

“Everybody a live them life. [I] am not the first or the last female in a situation like this. Stop messaging me like me and some a unu a Frend. It’s annoying, stop tagging me,” she added.

Pretty Pretty also explained why she had not commented publicly on the six-month-old situation until now.

“It’s funny how y’all rejoice over a woman’s pain. I could never do that. At the end of the day I’m also a female and certain things me no entertain. I choose not to talk about the situation because I don’t want my face all over YouTube and the media. It’s annoying and embarrassing.”

In December, less than a day after his birthday celebrations, I Waata had revealed that his then longtime girlfriend Pretty, who he calls “Mimi”, had left him after news surfaced that he had fathered a child with another woman.

“Mi love mi son and the world know mi love Mimi don’t? A fi mi Mimi enuh, all if Mimi feel like seh she a nuh fi mi Mimi, a fi mi Mimi and unno know that,” the Clip Tall singer said in a Live video at the time.

At the time, the deejay also pleaded with fans to leave Mimi alone.

“Lowe Mimi alone, weh unno a try bring dung di girl fah?” I Waata asked.  “A whole a unno inna dem seh situation deh. A just true me a artiste unno waan fling it and Mimi a artiste and dancer unno waan fling it everywhere.”

After the revelation, Pretty Pretty ghosted Instagram for several weeks until she resurfaced in January with a new song dubbed Social Media .

She told the STAR that she is usually one to lash out quickly when anyone seeks to drag her down on social media, but had turned a new leaf and wanted to put her emotions into song.

“I was fed up with all the things people were saying but I decided to answer this way because of how bad I felt within myself,” she said. “I knew that if I had retaliated instantly, I would have regretted a lot of things so my first choice was to stay calm.”

Her other recent single is Mi Want A Real G .

Pretty Pretty has also since moved on with the two other former Team Spice members, Dancing Rebel and TC, as the stars of Downsound Records’ (DSR) new reality web series Dancehall Life
