Rytikal – Chosen

Rytikal comes through with a gem on the My Letter To You riddim. The music video, which is currently trending No. 1 in Jamaica, sets the tone with Psalm 142 and when the St. Thomas artist sings “Give thanks to Jahhh,” you can hear the gratitude in his voice. Rytikal’s vocals are always crisp and finely tuned and shine brightly on Chosen. He always brings realness and slick bars. “A push a current weh current, JPS couldn’t hold the voltage.”

Skillibeng – Sloppy

Sloppy is everything you can come to expect from Skillibeng at this point: lyrics, a hard riddim and a wild ride through flows: this time on a trap meets drill dancehall track that could bang well on any hip hop playlist. The video finds him rapping to an adoring audience while the finest bad gyal buss a mean wine on club couches.

Quada – Control

Quada delivers a beautiful song and striking visual with “Control,” a song that chronicles his struggles and victories in life while remaining both in control of his story and his vocals: from deejaying to singing to rapping, Quada shines on this track which may be one of his finest yet. The accompanying video starts off with a palpable storyline leading to stylish, sunny visuals of the beloved artist celebrating all he’s overcome.

Ding Dong, Dre Island – Born Winner

Ding Dong and Dre Island are two of the best to ever do it so it’s only right they join forces in a track named “Born Winner.” From the opening chords and scenes of the video, you get a sense of inspiration, aspiration and celebration. This is a song about celebrating your wins and knowing they were a part of your destiny all along. “When dem see me, dem see a hero.” — Ding Dong

Teejay – Deeds

It really seems as if Teejay can do no wrong at this point. “Deeds” is a feel-good, mellow banger about love for family, the good life, the grind and the rewards of doing what needs to be done — all while staying bad-mind free. Teejay’s vocals flow nicely over the Romeich Entertainment-produced riddim.

Mr Eazi & Dre Skull – Sekkle & Bop (feat. Popcaan)

This is a collaboration that excites you before you even press play. The Nigerian Don Mr. Eazi links up with Jamaican Boss Popcaan, with a mad basement riddim produced by the Unruly Dre Skull. This was a long time coming and does not disappoint. Immediately waists will wine up, and the video is full of nuff eye candy for the gal and man dem. This is a 10 outta 10 collab.

Jafrass – Give Thanks

Jaffrass delivers a new song and clean music video for “Give Thanks,” a melodic ode to the Most High in gratitude of the many blessings bestowed. “I’m on top of mi game,” Jafrass sings. “Focused, mi never lost inna space.” Choir-like voices ring out in the background while the artist floats over the My Letter To You riddim.

Busy Signal – Case

Busy Signal is a G when he’s in his lane, and this is definitely the “Case” on his new song. “I have to bust a case tonight,” he draws over riddim. The video plays out the storyline visually, as Busy pulls up on scantily-clad women (one with a massive  lace-covered batty), helping them around the house like a dancehall handy man, then being invited upstairs. “She request the bedroom bully, seh she love off the pipe.”

Shaneil Muir – Lose To Win

Continuing on the theme of victory, dancehall delivers another win with Shaneil Muir’s Lose To Win.  “Nuff nuh know fi win yo affi loose couple time, soh yo know the success legit,” she sings.
