Yanique Curvy Diva Shares Rare Photo Of Daughter On 17th Birthday

Yanique Curvy Diva took to Instagram on Thursday (June 10) to wish her daughter Jada a happy birthday.

The birthday wishes come after Jada, who turned 17-years-old on June 8, took to the social media platform to celebrate her special day in an Instagram Live that caught the attention of those looking to catch a glimpse of Curvy Diva’s only child, who is notoriously private.

Following  Jada’s Live and a subsequent news story about the event, it seems the popular Dancehall artist and host, saw it necessary to correct swirling information that suggests her daughter was now 20-years-old, as opposed to her real age of 17-years-old.

“Happy 17th birthday to my baby, mi one daughter, ” said Curvy Diva, who shared a photo of Jada in her Instagram story.

“I’m so proud of you and I’m so greatful and blessed to have you as my daughter @thejadoremarie You’re my heartbeat,” added Yanique in a subsequent post on her story.

During Jada’s Live on Tuesday, the 17-year-old who is currently preparing for school leaving exams, told her followers that the reason she didn’t post photos of herself on social media was because she wasn’t really a fan of the platforms.

She further explained that when she was younger, her mother had wanted to prevent her from being subjected to any undue criticism but as she grew older, she just did not have a desire to post photos of herself.

“I just showing my face cause it’s kind of late right now. A true nuff people nuh really a join right now so me just hurry and go Live,” said Jada, as she noted that she still wanted to remain outside of the public eye.

” I still don’t want to show myself,” she added.

During the Live Jada fielded a question about her future career endeavors, to which she responded that her only desire was to be successful.

While Jada has an Instagram account, she has made no post to her page but has on occasion shared content in her  IG stories.
