Starface And Bryka Team Up For Steamy Romp ‘Tie Mi’
Dancehall artist Starface has teamed up with fellow artist Bryka for collab called Tie Mi that has set tongues wagging in the dancehall community.
“People ah say the video have a buzz, and the song hot, people ah say ah hit song. Dem say no Starface, yu find it, yu never haffi ah gwaan so inna the video (laughing). Mi caan wait fi see it miself, it hot rounda one part, it buzzy , it full a buzz, one whole heap a buzz, ah hot song, and a hot video,” Starface said.
Steamy visuals for the pillow-talk pairing will premiere on Youtube on July 2.
Starface believes that ‘Tie Mi’ single taps into the concept of psychic sexual energies where people feel that something supernatural must be at work for the chemistry to be so intense.
“Tie Mi ah talk about a higher level psychic sex where you believe that you are able to connect sexually through the merging of thoughts and souls on another plane, that is what dem call ‘Tie Mi’ sex. So that comes from the energies that exist between us and our partners and when it gets too intense, it can be dangerous. So that is why you have to be careful who you share your energy with,” Starface said.
Starface is known for the singles, Tuff and Ride It featuring Maestro Don.
The team up was the brainchild of talented dancehall firebrand Bryka, who conceptualised the Tie Mi song.
“The idea came about very simply, one morning I was in my bathroom and I remembered I had just got a rhythm, and I took up the phone and started listening to the beat and the melody just came up out of nowhere. After I finished writing the song, I was thinking about getting a female artiste to collaborate on it and Starface fit in perfectly, so I approached her with the idea and when she heard the melody, she was ready immediately so we rearranged the chorus and the verse to accommodate her on it,” Bryka explained.
The song is produced by Natural Cause Entertainment and D’Maestro Beats and will be distributed by Zojak Worldwide.
The song is a perfect Summer party-banger. From her opening lines when Starface declares: ‘your c—-y have a buzz’, she makes a riveting display of sexual ownership as she skips gleefully and candidly over a melodic beat, once again reiterating the bad-b-tch status that she initially introduced to the mainstream years ago.
Starface doesn’t skimp on the details, and Bryka doesn’t hold back with his hard-hitting rhymes. Does the bombastic track deserve a spot on your “getting it on” playlist?
“Most definitely, this is the song for the Summer, and now that the place is reopened, we can get to go extra hard with the promotion,” Bryka said.
Bryka is known for singles such as ‘I’ll Be That Man’ , ‘Mama Love’ and ‘Self Driven’.
One thing is certain is that this infectious track is sure to give you an incredible buzz as the country reopens and the entertainment scene slips back into a higher gear.
Enjoy.
