Bounty Killer Shares Thoughts On ‘Gold Diggers’
Bounty Killer stirred up a hornet’s nest, and had his female followers in a tizzy on Monday afternoon, after he made a post giving his take on gold-digging women, which sparked a heated verbal clash between Bob Marley’s son Rohan Marley and a commenter.
Aiming his jab deliberately at women who do not reciprocate generosity in relationships, the Warlord said his ideal woman has to be as kind and genuine as his own late mother Ivy Williams.
“Why are men taught how to treat women but women aren’t taught how to treat men?” his post read.
Bounty went a step further with his caption noting: “Such a huge imbalance☝🏿. Most women today treat ur pocket way better than she treats you😂 Get all up inna unuh feelings now I said what I said😂 Mi tell unuh already dat a nuh my girl unless she knows exactly how to treat me and generous like Ms Ivy🙌🏿 PEEEEEEEEEEOPLE DEEEEEEEEEEEAD!!!!!!!!!”

Bounty got immediate support from Rohan Marley, who is not only a son of Reggae legend Bob Marley, but the father of singer Lauryn Hill’s five children.
“JAH JAH …I was gonna say why ..let me chill 😂😂😂,” the 49-year-old Marley wrote, in a post that evoked the ire of a follower bearing the moniker duppypumpum.
“@romarley yuh nuh have room fi chat look how you mash up lauryn hill now she mad,” duppypumpum wrote in her first jab at Marley. She then added: “@romarley true you run to marry white gal and mash up her life”, referencing Rohan’s Brazilian model wife Barbara Fialho.
Upon seen the response Marley hurled back: @duppypumpum that’s why you name silly pumpum chat purê sh-t”.
Having got the Reggae icon’s son’s attention Duppypumpum responded: “@romarley yes so.”
What happened next was a ‘tracing match’ between the two with Marley now on the defensive, dismissing his critic.
As for the One General, among those stepping up to face him was iamsandymundy.
“Bounty they did teach us from a young age how to cook and clean and make our house a home. The home should be your King’s sanctuary. Woman are have a built in emotional and loving spirit which is enhanced and brought to fruition by a good man,” she wrote.
“Regarding your second statement that some women treat the man pocket better……My thoughts: Men are so visual and some are big fools they always want to date out of their league; for example a man can be extremely unattractive and uncouth but he wants the prettiest girl on his arm and he is willing to pay her to play nice! I say date in your league,” she added.
However, Bounty’s counteraction, which was one of many responses to her post, invalidated her statements.
“A woman still has to wash cook clean take care of the house etc with or without a man so those not the ideal thing in taking care of a man being his peace comfort and support means way more than just those stuffs…,” Bounty wrote.
“Really strong points u made there though my dear,” he added.
The Its OK artiste was supported by fyah_bomb and coconutzoo, who argued too that household chores were not specific to any gender, but were a part of life’s activities.
“@iamsandymundy cooking an cleansing is not for men. If you was single, you would still have to cook and clean. Cooperation is what men needs, submission not just in the bedroom,” fyah-bomb wrote, while coconutzoo added: @iamsandymundy, The issue is people applying gender to cooking, cleaning, and minding a home when those are life skills every human should have. Not solely a woman’s “job”.
Another fan, fiztroyhamilton found favour with Bounty when he wrote that “very few women has the ability to love and care and be peace to a man’s soul”.
“@fiztroyhamilton Say it again for the ladies at the back👏🏿,” was the Grung Gad’s response.
