Nigerian Singer Tomi Thomas Recruits Buju Banton For ‘Hurricane’ Music Video: Watch

Nigerian singer Tomi Thomas has teamed up with Dancehall legend Buju Banton on a new track titled Hurricane.  Shot between Jamaica and Nigeria, the @daliadias-directed visuals premiered on Banton’s birthday on July 15.

Model and dancer Isabella Ayomobi (@isabellaayomobi) stands in as nature’s fury in the sexy visuals that begin with a booming and familiar Buju intro and a powerful beat highlighting Tomi’s vocal range.

“The music from within will always transcend time and space,” Thomas said of the track.

“Like a hurricane again (hurricane again) // She coming like a hurricane again // Say lord // Hurricane again // She coming like a hurricane again,” Tomi sings on the chorus, while we get a glimpse of 1992’s Batty Rider Buju as he spits:
