Sikka Rymes Held For Questioning After Murder Of His Friend

An associate of Dancehall artist Sikka Rymes was killed yesterday in what some sources are saying is a reprisal killing.

Unconfirmed reports are that Sikka Rymes and two of his friends had gone to May Pen to purchase a car.  However, according to the reports, the car sale was a ruse orchestrated to lure Sikka Rymes and his associate to Clarendon where they were ambushed by persons unknown.

Police are reportedly questioning the deejay in relation to the incident which they believe is a reprisal for a murder committed months before. The cops believe that the deejay has information that can assist their investigations, so he is being held for questioning.

In December 2019, Javian ‘Sikka Rymes’ Chambers was hospitalized in critical condition after he was shot three times by unknown assailants.

Rymes, who is the self-styled ‘GAZA VP,’ is best known for his many collabs with incarcerated Dancehall star Vybz Kartel including Like I’m Superman, Heavyweight, and Skate.  He recently signed an ambassadorship deal with the Italian luxury fashion label Off-White.
