Dancehall star Shenseea has shared that she’s nervous, a few hours removed from what may be the biggest performance of her career so far.

The Run Run singer will join headliner A$ap Rocky, 21 Savage, Lil Baby and several others hip-hop artists later today to kick off the three-day Rolling Loud music festival at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.  Shenseea is set to perform on the Ciroc stage at 6 PM and thousands of fans are expected to attend.

According to Miami Herald, an estimated 210,000 people attended the 2019 staging of the festival.  The 2020 iteration, like many other events, was canceled.

In a Tweet yesterday, Shenseea said she was feeling “a bit” nervous ahead of her debut at the popular hip hop festival.  “A bit nervous for my performance at Rolling Loud tomorrow,” she wrote.

“You’re going to ace your performance have a fantastic time soaking up the experience. Fingers crossed for you,” one of her fans responded.

Others said her nervousness was understandable following reports that a giant screen at the venue had crashed onto one of the stages yesterday. “I don’t blame you, I saw a post of the stage falling apart . Definitely need to make sure every screw is bolt down good! Other than that, rock out sis !” one person said.

A portion of the festival’s ‘Audiomack Stage’ collapsed at about 5 PM yesterday after a projection screen fell, according to the Herald.

Rolling Loud said no one was injured during the mishap, and the festival is scheduled to take place as planned.

“In case you see it on the news, a screen fell down at one of our stages. Nobody was hurt and it will be fixed before doors open tomorrow. The show goes on!” the Festival tweeted on Thursday.

Shenseea had announced her last-minute addition to the festival one day after revealing her new management, Wassim ‘Sal’ Saliby of XO Records.  She will release her debut album this summer.  The first single from the collection, Run Run , was released last week.
