Nicki Minaj Names Her Favorite Song From Spice’s New Album “10”
After Spice’s exciting 10 album launch last Friday, it didn’t take long for rap icon Nicki Minaj to grab a copy of her own. The Trinidadian-born superstar even told her 150 million Instagram followers that she would reveal her favorite song from the 15-track collection.
Nicki was sure to keep her word when she shared that track 2, Send It Up, was her absolute favorite. She shared a snippet of the song along with Spice’s album cover and quoted some standout lyrics, “1 f*k mi gih yuh we no need fi romantic. Mi ah gyal ah like it wen di si’in gigantic.”
The Queen of Dancehall couldn’t have been more thrilled about the reveal as she quickly re-shared Nicki’s post and wrote, “Guess which song the Queen @nickiminaj 👑 listening to off my Album? #Senditup 🔥 🔥🔥 Inna mi belly, belly, belly ‼️.”
Spice went on to thank the rap star but not without lauding a few of her aseptic qualities. “Thanks @nickiminaj Big up Yuh nice clean ole, fresh breath, good stomach Self 💙💙💙 Right blooodclaaat Desso ‼️,” she said in an Instagram post on Monday.
The gesture from Nicki got the fans excited, while some were happy to see the Caribbean “Queens supporting each other” it also got many urging the two women to take things a step further and collaborate on a song together.
“2 queens together @spiceofficial @nickiminaj We need a collab from y’all,” said one person. Others joined in, “@nickiminaj do a remix to this sis!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” and “@spiceofficial you should collab with her😍😍.”
Back in May, Spice told Essence Magazine that a dream collab for her would be Nicki Minaj among other female rappers like Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, and Beyonce.
In fact, she would love to do a ‘Caribbean girls linkup‘ with Nicki, Rihanna, who is Barbadian, and herself. “We all doing good…Nicki Minaj, Spice, Rihanna, all from the Caribbean – Come on girls!” she told Social Media Director, Charisma Deberry.
It appears Send It Up is also a top pick for several other fans. Spice asked her besties to tell her which song they were ‘vibing’ to on the collection, and among the fan favorites were Send It Up, Go Down Deh, Love Her, Po Po featuring her son Nicho, Don’t Care, and S.P.I.C.E.

Dancehall artist Charly Black shared on his IG Stories that he was vibing to the track Nitey, and wrote to “Big up @spiceofficial on your album.”
Since the release, 10 has scored some major accolades, from securing the No. 1 spots on the iTunes Reggae chart to No. 1 on Amazon’s Best Seller Reggae Album. Pandora Music also gave the album, 10 out of 10.
