Shenseea’s hair-raising look on her Be Good cover art was inspired by the Hairotica series for Tush Magazine, which was originally conceived and photographed by Paris-based filmmaker and artistic director, Ali Mahdavi, in collaboration with hairstylist Mecca Christophe.

Upon the release of her Be Good music video last week, the Shenyeng princess mesmerized audiences with her show-stopping coiffures courtesy of Opus Beauty and hairstylist Fitch Lunar, who was also one of the creatives behind her Run Run video shoot.

The Hairotica series included the original version of Shenseea’s embezzled male genitalia hairdo along with others that captured the essence of women’s most private body parts.

Mecca’s vision of ‘The Goddess Aphrodite’ and another he labeled “Circus Edition” for the Life Ball in Vienna may have also had some influence on more of Fitch’s daring hairstyles for Shenseea as seen with her pink tresses bearing a hollowed pyramid-shaped coronet.

The hairstylist also embodied Shen’s Jamaica culture in another look for her river scene in the Be Good music video by creating twirled dreadlocks buns.

The Be Good music video, which was directed by Darren Craig was undeniably one of Shenseea’s best yet. From the enchanting set capturing the lush sylvan of Stony Hill, Jamaica to the energetic talents in the backup and the colorful costumes with props, along with Fitch Lunar’s eye-catching hair designs, you simply couldn’t look away.

The single, currently at 1.2 million views on YouTube since its release 5 days ago, is the second release from Shen’s still-untitled debut album on Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records. Check it out here –
