Masicka Reassures Fans That His ‘4.3.8’ Album Is Complete
Dancehall artist Masicka has reassured impatient fans that his new album, dubbed 4.3.8, was complete.
During a recent Instagram Live video, the They Don’t Know singer responded to fans who were paging him about the project in the comments. “Album a forward, stop worry unu self, album complete you know what I mean,” Masicka said.
“A jus fi sign off some likkle things and get some things together,” he further explained. “A whole heap of new video, to. So the fans just gwan wait”.
He also used the opportunity to implore his followers to buy the album when it is eventually released. “Mek sure uno push up the credit card dem, ya hear? All who a bawl fi album,” he said.
Masicka, whose real name is Javaun Fearon, said he’s working hard to ensure he puts out a quality body of work. “The greatness take time. The album done long time. Alright, to be honest, mi have enough songs fi drop six, seven albums. Mi record everyday, mi nuh do nothing else but mek music.”
The singer, who is known for hits like Infrared with Vybz Kartel, Leader with Dexta Daps, Top Form, and Stay Strong, added that “songs is not the issue, mi a just try give uno a epic body of work because ah di first album.”
As supporters impatiently await the singer’s debut album, it is expected that 4.3.8 will have several features. “The album a drop shortly, a whole heap a collab deh pon the album..a whole heap of bad collab..somethings wa uno nah go expect,” he promised.
Different Type, released in May 2021, is billed as the project’s first single. It currently stands at 3.5 million views on YouTube.
