Busy Signal Samples Bounty Killer On New “Fed Up & Tired” Single: Listen

The pandemic hasn’t been an easy one to deal with. With the media reporting lockdowns, the latest positive cases and deaths, and new variants, many have reached their breaking point and have lost hope for a return to normal. Veteran Dancehall artist Busy Signal has had it with all the madness, and speaks his mind on the new single, Fed Up & Tired.

Produced and released by Gorilla Music Source (the team behind Busy Signal & Bounty Killer’s Bang Bung single), Busy Signal doesn’t hold back as he speaks on the Covid-19 pandemic, champions for poor people as they suffer through lockdowns, inflation, and crime, and lashes out at the Government and the entities that continue to oppress the people. In addition to his tirade, he encourages listeners to educate themselves, take heed to the words of Marcus Garvey, and demands answers from the leaders of the country.

Bounty Killer‘s classic 1995 single, Fed Up was sampled to further emphasize Busy Signal’s strong message on Fed Up & Tired, and the new single seeks to cause a shift on the music scene as Bounty’s powerful release. Fed Up was produced by Sly & Robbie for the Taxi label, and was the opening track on Bounty’s 1996 album, My Xperience.

Busy Signal, whose given name is Reanno Gordon, has been consistently releasing singles throughout 2021. He has released collaborations with Jamaican Producers ZJ Chrome and DJ Karim, and has been doing well internationally with singles that include Jaye Pro with Nigerian Artiste/Producer Emiz, and High Up with Ghanaian Artiste Jupitar.
