Nvasion Teams Up With Safaree In Video For ‘Stories’: Watch

Known for his controversial single Wicked, Nvasion has teamed up with Jamaican American rapper Safaree Samuels for a new single, titled Stories.

Released last year, Nvasion’s Wicked became an immediate social media sensation, delivering a creative take on just how ‘wicked’ women can be in all forms of relationships. Adding a twist, Nvasion refixed Wicked with Exclusive songstress, Shaneil Muir, to show both sides of the story.

Now, Nvasion continues to comment on situationships with his new song Stories. Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star, whose wife, Erica Mena recently filed for divorce, is seen rapping in the visuals and sharing his unlucky encounters with women.

Safaree is even seen dropping the bars of the catchy hook of Wicked, “Dem gyal a wicked, dem wicked, dem wicked”

Produced by UK-based label The Estate Entertainment, Stories open with Nvasion singing conversationally to Safaree declaring that women are wicked and asking Safaree, “whats the wickedest thing a gyal eva do you?”

Safaree in response raps his stories in both verses.

“Yow!! I had a girl say she love me / But all she want was money / And thought they would have bring it back to me like am a dummy / I saw the screenshot, she thought the screen lock”

“Yo she said she single, lying, / found out crying / She wanted Versace am not buying / Stress, sighing / Yelling, wilding / Tryna front on me now coach / she flying…”

Sitting in a living room, the video accentuates the conversational style of the song while also showing snapshots of different girls. One particularly, adorned in a white bridal-like dress running away with a bat in hand, as Safaree recalls his stories.

This collaboration comes on the heels of Safaree’s announcement of his plans to start his own label, with a focus on Reggae, Dancehall and Soca. While he admitted that he doesn’t know how long it will take to do this, his collaboration with Nvasion seems like a step in the right direction.
