Masicka Shares An “Update” On His ‘4.3.8’ Album’s Release Date
Amid the clamouring for new music from his fans, the “Genahsyde” boss Masicka has returned with a new single, dubbed Update, a follow-up to Different Type—the first single off of his upcoming “4.3.8” album.
Masicka has also had fans eager for news on the album’s release date, and appears to have hinted at a December 3, 2021 release date at the 3:04 minute mark in the new visuals for Update. The deejay’s frequent producer Dunw3ll ( Corner , Leader ) was sure to point that out in a tweet following the video’s release yesterday.

Produced by TJ Records, Update finds Masicka proclaiming that it’s still “one syde“, and that’s the “Genahsyde“. Stepping down from his throne, Masicka keeps everyone up to date on his movements—whether he has been performing live, staying busy in the studio, connecting with the ladies, or just living life.
The music video was directed by Director Rizzy along with Karizma Visuals Media and RD Studios.
With its December 3 release date “4.3.8”, will join Demarco’s “Melody”, Teejay’s “Rags To Riches”, Bounty Killer’s “King Of Kingston”, Beenie Man’s “Simma” Konshens’ “Red Reign” and Shenseea’s still-untitled debut as one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
Masicka celebrated a few top moments in 2021 including scoring a collaboration on the track “Everest” with Sean Paul, who commended him for his versatile style. Masicka has also struck gold in Germany thanks to his 2020 “Big Body Benz” collaboration with German rapper Bonez MC.
