Aidonia, Govana Tease ‘Brother’s Keeper’ Project In New Visuals For ‘Mayday’: Watch
Known for his lyricism, Dancehall deejay Aidonia returns with a protege, Govana, to show that his wordplay is still as potent as when he emerged in the mid-2000s. The 4th Genna pair, today, released visuals for their latest collaboration, Mayday.
Directed by Dezignr Studios, Aidonia steps out with enough lyrics and flow to keep even his detractors excited, while the Strike Force deejay Govana holds his own.
Mayday joins Breeze, Yeah Man, Run Road, and Chartered Flight as another classic Aidonia/Govana collaboration, and we may finally see them release the joint project that fans have called for over the years, with the title Brother’s Keeper appearing at the end of the new video and in hashtags on recent Instagram posts by both deejays.
Mayday is one of the few Aidonia releases this year that include, U Know D Vibe, Whisper, Kool Aid, and Fever Temperature. Govana, on the other hand, has been making plenty of noise this year. With his debut album Humans And Monsters Are Not The Same (H.A.M.A.N.T.S) doing well in 2020, he brought over the energy into 2021 with singles like Big Dreams, POP, Karen, Chap Chop, 1Matik, and Movie featuring US Rapper Fivio Foreign.
