An adorable TikTok video of a granny being gifted an outfit from Spice’s Graci Noir clothing line has inspired the Queen of Dancehall to expand the collection for seniors.  And, following her own advice which she dished at a recent small business seminar, Spice says she already knows exactly what she would call the ‘senior’ collection, based on the woman’s funny reaction to the gift from her granddaughter.

In the TikTok video captioned “I surprised my granny with Graci Noir that she always wanted and this is how she reacted,” the elated elder looked at the bright orange outfit laid out on the bed and cheered, “When mi step out in a mi Graci Si Noir, ah murdah!”

Granny then broke out in a stiff wine and proceeded to sing the hook of Spice’s Go Down Deh hit single with Shaggy and Sean Paul.

Spice, who re-shared the video on Instagram, said, “Woooiiieeeee Granny I love you baaaad 🤣🤣😂😂 Big up your Granddaughter … thank you for shopping my brand @gracinoir. Granny give me a idea to start my senior collection it’s how she said Graci Si Noir for me 🤣🤣😂😂”.

“Graci senior” coming soon 🏃🏾‍♀️,” she continued.  As for granny, Spice promised she’d get a free supply of Graci Noir outfits from each collection.

Granny isn’t the only one that loves Graci Noir, the fashion line has been repped by her famous friends on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta to Jamaican Member of Parliament MP, Lisa Hanna who stepped out in a GN track suit when she visited health centers in her constituency back in March. Sean Paul’s wife, Jodi Jinx is also a huge fan of the collection and is often seen rocking her GN outfits.

According to Spice, anyone who she happens to see (in person) wearing her brand of clothing will be fully reimbursed – a show of appreciation for their support. The move was inspired back in April when she saw two fans at her concert sporting the look.

“From this day forth any one who I happen to see wearing my brand @gracinoir as long as it’s not at an “advertised” location. I will refund their money #Support fi Support …” she wrote.

Last Friday, the Queen of Dancehall showed off her social media savvy on Flow Jamaica’s weekly virtual ‘InKnowvation: Small Business Fridays’ live stream with host, Talia Soares.  The series aims to help empower and grow small and medium-sized businesses in the digital age.

According to the Jamaica Gleaner, Spice, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, shared tips on how to run a business using the digital tools available.

“Spice knew the jargon and terms such as “multiple streams of income”, “effective marketing strategy”, “brainstorming”, “search engine optimisation”, easily rolled off her tongue as she outlined to her captive audience the skills needed for success,” the newspaper reported.

“Moving from traditional to digital marketing is the new way of getting your brand out there. Everything is getting modernised; you have to change with the times. Now it’s right at your fingertips. Digital marketing is the new way of promoting your business. Without digital marketing in this lifestyle, your business is absolutely nothing,” Spice said during the stream.

“Your business is your vehicle, and you have to maintain it and make noise with your marketing strategy. When you are on the road, and you are driving, there are distractions – other cars, loud noise, police may pull you over, you may get a flat tyre – but just focus on the road. Press gas and never look back until you achieve your goals”.

She continued, “What I want you to realise with social media is that you first need to know your target audience. For example, let’s say that you are starting a swimwear line. You can pay to promote on Instagram, but you wouldn’t want to promote on Pinterest, which has a more mature audience.”

“Learn about things like Google Ads; TikTok is hot and hype right now,” she added as she unveiled her 10 ‘Ms’ in business, which include: master plan, manufacturing, manifest, money, motivated, marketing, margin, multiply, management and maintaining.
