Skeng & Tommy Lee Sparta – Protocol
Skeng keeps them churning them out and Dancehall fans are here for it. After issuing Heaven Passport with Intence last month, he linked up with incarcerated Spartan Soldier deejay, Tommy Lee today for the new release Protocol, which—like Gvnman Shift and Brrrp before it—details their expert gunmanship.
The Trueyez Films–directed visuals take viewers outside the local perimeter to an NYPD patrolled street in New York City, where Skeng pars with his crew and switches flow at will.
Skillibeng featuring Spice – Richer
The new music video for Skillibeng and Spice’s single Richer off his Crocodile Teeth album has arrived this week courtesy of filmmakers RD Studios. The two Dancehall elites teamed up for an entertaining visual display, showing off their ‘badness’ and rich state-of-mind, with the Devon House estate in Kingston city as their playground.
“More money, more life” is the mission as Skilli and Spice pull off a daring heist at the great house in the middle of the afternoon and in nonchalant fashion. Their getaway helicopter looms in the distance while Skillibeng plays the very stealthy villain, maneuvering through green laser-beam guarded rooms and singlehandedly taking out all the guards as Spice snatches all the valuables.
Lil TaTi & Mavado – Up Late
Dancehall star Mavado brought some sultry, sexy vibes in his latest release, Up Late – a collaboration with 17-year-old emerging Hip-Hop artist Lil TaTi. In the single, produced by Israel Consuegra and Liz Lopez, the Gully Gad says “Mi friend Franco bring ah Spanish chic fi me,” and boy is he smitten. The Mike HQ- directed music video finds the two singers serenading their seductive foreign muses in lusting lyrics and the fans are all for it. The track, which premiered on November 4 has racked up over 800k views.
Konshens featuring Kemar Highcon – No Style
Today Konshens treated viewers to a new visualizer for No Style off his new album Red Reign that features Kemar Highcon. No Style comes as a reminder to “dem boys” that “girls naturally gravitate to we,” says Konshens. The playboys flex their conceited selves in a simple red room void of any bells or whistles, afterall “Di gyal dem say we a dresser and dem [boy] a watnot.”
Bay-C – Hero
Former TOK band member, Bay C is one of the lucky ones and is saluting his girl – his Hero in this new single. The uptempo-sounding track is one of the danceable cuts off his Holy Temple album that narrates the unconditional love from his loyal beau. She’s his ‘hero’ always “got my back / when I’m down baby you save me, when I’m drowning you save me,” he sings in the track. The video was shot on the picturesque Hellshire beaches of St. Catherine, Jamaica and directed by Benjamin Lidsky.
Capleton – Control Your Tempo
The ‘Fire Man’ Capleton has some steam to get off his chest and did so in the release of his latest track Control Your Tempo, which is the first single off the Blue Flame Riddim album. “A nuh everything you fi quick fi draw gun, control you temper, gwaan go calm down,” he echoes on the hook, along with addressing issues such as gun violence, underage pregnancy and drug trafficking. In other verses Capleton also encourages the misguided youths to invest wisely and do something productive with their lives.
He also talks about “nuff youth end up in jail house” while portraits of a few incarcerated Dancehall stars like Vybz Kartel, Tommy Lee Sparta and Ninjaman flicker on the screen of the Fernando Hevia-directed visuals.
Aidonia – House Corner
We might be seeing a crazy run of new singles from Aidonia. He recently released “May Day” with Govana, and now he’s getting the ladies hot and bothered with the 4th Genna Music produced, House Corner.
Vybz Kartel – Certified Money Boy
They say money is the root of all evil, but Vybz Kartel begs to differ in the new single, Certified Money Boy. Money can also be the root of good things, and Kartel is encouraging us to get away from poverty over a JB Productions Riddim. Dancehall artist Demarco steps in as the director for the accompanying music video.
Teejay – Escobar
While we anticipate the release of his upcoming “Rags To Riches” album, Mobay Dancehall artist Teejay provides more content with the release of the music video for a single, Escobar. To be rich like Pablo Escobar is the motive, check out the video below.
Shane O – We Alright
Shane O stays consistent with the release of We Alright which finds him living like a King in the KD Visuals directed video. On the track, he lets listeners know that life is good, and he puts doubters to shame every time. Braff away to this one.
Di-Ruption – Stoical
Dancehall newcomer Di Ruption trods the hard road travelled by many in the track Stoical. He too has had thoughts of taking the easy way out but was strong enough to endure what feels like unending suffering. “A nuff time mi pree mi stoical, mi keep the pain to myself, nuff call dat vital, mi could a lift up couple matic if the prize wasn’t on my hands.” The deejay encourages others to hold strong until better times come, though he knows how hard it can be – “Wha a mine, and wah ah yours ah yours. If you never get it wait till you see your turn although the journey rough, don’t give up, just take one step at a time.”

The music video for “Product” was directed by Jerrow.
Tommy Lee Sparta x Laden – Remember Me
Tommy Lee Sparta continues to roll out content for his recently released “Transition” double album. Today, he shared the music video for “Remember Me”. Featuring Dancehall artist Laden, Tommy Lee gets animated this time around, and “Remember Me” has been hailed as one of the more popular offerings on the album thanks to its introspective lyrics. Both artists are currently incarcerated for illegal possession of firearms.
Naomi Cowan – Cloudy Days
Singer-songwriter Naomi Cowan is back with new visuals for Cloudy Days off her Star Girl Mixtape, after treating fans to her infectious ballad Jaded two weeks ago. Presented by Walshy Fire and Major Lazer, Cloudy Days has Cowan with her sights set on a freeing future. She’s the sole star of the show in the visualizer directed by Skinny, much like how she plans on moving on.
