“Nov.8  the day the earth stood still , and the heavens rejoiced,” he captioned the photo.

In another post, he poured out his heart to his fiancé.

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.   @morgansterl I LOVE YOU SOO MUCH IT MIGHT BE TOXIC lol ! This time I’m going head first. Giving a chance at real love. You’re my RIDER, You’re literally my chargy , the other side of my ying yang. We have a whole journey ahead of us and I’m excited to start this new chapter,” he noted.

BEAM, who was born in Jamaica, grew spent his early childhood years in Smokeyvale, St. Andrew before migrating to the United States at age nine.

He recently featured on Popcaan and Canadian rapper Preme’s collaborative Link Up EP, on the track Love Cost Too Much.

He also featured in the track Freedom, a gospel collab with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, which was released on Easter Sunday, this year.   Not only was Freedom, which was co-written by the Kingston-born BEAM, the lead single, but it was also the title track for Bieber’s six-track gospel “Freedom.” EP.

BEAM, who is 26 years old, has long credited Papa San for introducing him to music as a child.

As a producer, much of the music he has produced has been on the gospel side.   He produced tracks for two of his father’s gospel albums — 2012’s My Story and he Billboard-chart-topping One Blood in 2014.

He has also produced music for acts such as 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti and Christian hip-hop artist Lecrae.

BEAM has a Grammy under his belt, for his contribution to Lecrae’s Gravity album, which won Best Gospel Album at the 55th Grammy Awards, and in addition, took home the Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album at the 2013 Dove Awards.

In 2020 BEAM copped a nomination in the Latin Grammy Awards for the Best Urban Song with Rave de Favela with Major Lazer and Anitta.

In an interview with the Jamaica Observer several months ago, BEAM had said he had been recording with Papa San from he was 10 years old until about age 17.

However, he did not take the plunge to begin recording himself until he was 20, as he opted to concentrate on the engineering and production side of the music only.

Now 55-years-old, Papa San started out in music performing on sound systems such as Black Scorpio and Creation as a youngster in the late 1970s.  The Spanish Town native’s breakout song was I Will Survive which sampled American singer Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 classic of the same.  The song which was the hottest in Jamaica that year, dominated the local charts and propelled him to national stardom.

At least 17 of Papa San’s songs topped the local reggae/dancehall music charts.  Among them were Animal Party, Style and Fashion, Strange, and Maddy, Maddy Cry and Dancehall Good to We.

Now a pastor, he also copped several awards for Deejay of the Year, Most Versatile Deejay, Best Dressed Deejay, and Best Video during his secular Dancehall days.
