Condolences pour in for Paparatzzi
Following news of the early morning incident, fans of the up and coming deejay began to share tributes across his social media platforms.
“Wow I simply met this guy last month in Jamaica. My son and I was so crazy about his chopper song. My son’s uncle had to drive us down to his bar so my son can take pictures with him. This is so sad Jamaica, y’all can do better. He was a nice guy. RIP big man,” said one social media user.
“Can’t believe you gone bro,” added another.
Paparatzzi, who only recently made the transition into artistry, started out first as a promoter focusing on advertising parties in the island’s west end.
He then began hosting sessions, later making his debut as an artist in 2018 with his single Braffing.
It was a transition that was welcomed by many who knew him, as many on the party scene had recognized his musical talent since the early 90s.
In 2019, Paparatzzi teamed up with Chronic Law on the Witch riddim’ for Brafazz.
Later that year, he established an official Vevo Youtube channel, dropping collabs with other west-end artists.
Most recently, Paparatzzi had been working on a project with Clarks Pon Foot hit maker, Jahvillani.
Paparazzi leaves behind a teenage daughter, who resides in the United States.
