Iration Cops RIAA Gold Certification For ‘Falling’
Reggae-influenced rock band Iration has scored their second Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their song, Falling.
The single was certified Gold on November 16 after it reached the sales and streaming equivalent of 500,000 units sold in the United States.
Falling first appeared on the California-based group’s Sample This EP (2008), and later on their Time Bomb (2010) album, which topped the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
This is Iration’s second Gold certification from the RIAA. The Time Bomb album’s title track was certified Gold less than a year ago.
Current members of the group, who all originally hail from Hawaii, are Micah Pueschel (lead vocals, guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Cayson Peterson (keyboard/synth), Joseph Dickens (drums), Micah Brown (lead guitar, vocals) and Drake Peterson (percussion, trumpet).
Along with Rebelution and Stick Figure, Iration ranks among the top-selling Reggae bands in the United States.
Iration was recently added to the Cali Vibes Fest, set for February 4-6, 2022 in Long Beach, California. Headlined by the Marley Brothers (Ziggy, Stephen, Damian, Ky-Mani & Julian), the festival will also see performances from Sean Paul, Shaggy, Koffee, Protoje, Steel Pulse and more.
