Teshae Star Releases Another Single ‘Try Again’

Emerging singer Teshae Star, who won the hearts of many when she teamed up with Romain Virgo for the Dutty Man remix, is hoping to spread positivity with her latest track Try Again.

“The song is about never giving up on your dreams or yourself, always try again and never give up,” the 13-year-old said. Released on November 19, the track is a CEMI Production.

In an interview with DancehallMag, Teshae added that she’s able to produce influential music based on what she listens to herself.

“I stay motivated by listening to positive music and staying focused despite all that is happening in this world,” the seventh-grade student said.

Teshae hails from Rae Town in Central Kingston. She is hoping that this song will resonate well with listeners and also inspire them to be the best versions of themselves.

“I want my music to help heal the world; that is why I do music and I will always do music,” Teshae added.

With another previously released track titled Prayer, the singer is currently putting all her focus into his forthcoming release. Citing her mother and Romain Virgo as her musical influence, she is hoping to make a big impact by putting out music of hope and positivity, much like this song.

“I was inspired by Mr. Romain Virgo and my mom; she was always singing to me as a child around the house which is how I fell in love with music in the first place. I hope the message in the song reach people’s soul and the understanding that they should never give up on their dreams,” she added.

Currently under the tutelage of Lorraine Ferguson of CEMI Productions, Teshae Star promises more positive music in the pipeline and a forthcoming EP.

“Well just greatness, more positive singles and hopefully in a few months or so I will be able to release an EP.”
