Romeich Shares Meet With DJ Khaled
After being momentarily slighted by DJ Khaled a few weeks ago, Shenseea’s manager Romeich Major is now happy to show off his link with the American music mogul.
Romeich may not have had the best first meet with his idol last October, when Khaled arrived at a Miami set to work with Shenseea. The video, that captured the moment Khaled walked up the stairs of a tour bus to greet the Shenyeng princess and her crew, made its way across several social media channels. Many onlookers couldn’t help but laugh at the usually confident Romeich turning into a typical fanboy when he finally saw the We The Best producer in person.
In an Instagram post made yesterday, Romeich shared the embarrassing video clip and admitted he had to layoff the ‘gram for a little after the experience.
He wrote, “Who remembered this day 😂😂😂😂. Boy I was off the gram and me nah lie uno laugh after me enuh just because a the first me a meet a icon that I look up to 😂😂😂 me say all the one @shenseea laugh to enuh. The great @djkhaled lol”

Romeich is evidently in a better place emotionally and can look back and laugh at the moment. However, his post didn’t go up without more jabs at his expense.
“😢😢 me alone see the tension on romeich face lucky [thing] him did sit down cause if him never hail him straight a grung him a drop 😂😂😂😂,” said one follower.
Another pointed out the awkward manner in which Romeich pulled back his hand after Khaled ‘forget’ to immediately return the handshake.
“Bro like yuh hand touch a hot pot 😂😂 man move him fast.” Someone else said, “Yow did funny dawg….Romeich play of the miss handshake smooth still…”
“One of The biggest snub in history,” added another.
When Khaled eventually got around to greeting the guy sitting by the wayside with the nervous smile across his face, and who Shenseea introduced as “This is your biggest fan!” Romeich finally shook his hand and was sure to plug his name before the moment ended. “Romeich yuh hear!”
“Its “Romeich you hear” for me 😂😂,” laughed one follower. Others spotted the same, “Mek dem. know “ROMEICH YEER!” Don’t overlook me again 😑” and “A ROMEICH YER 😂😂 #Classic.”
In a follow-up post, Romeich shared an update on how it’s going since meeting Khaled. One was a photo of them both hanging out at what appears to be the set of the Pandora Ad Campaign, along with videos of the two talking up their future collaborative efforts and Khaled ‘bigging up’ Major.
“You see what it is, nothing but love. This brother [Romeich] has nothing but love and nothing but respect. I got nothing but love and respect for him.”
“Shout out to the whole Jamaica and all the artistes out there, I love y’all, you naa mean, just keep winning. New year coming, new tings a gwaan,” Khaled said.
He continued, “We a do some big bomboclaat tings and we ah go done the bloodcaat.” Romeich then chimed in, “We The Best and Romeich Entertainment, ah problems.”
Evidently having the last laugh, Romeich wrote on the post, “Don’t Listen the noise. Don’t watch the laughter. JUST focus on the End Game. Today mark the first Day of December Let’s end the year special my peeps.”
