Spice Takes Jab At Foota Hype With Bisexual Fan On Stage
Queen of Dancehall Spice took her ongoing feud with popular selector and producer Foota Hype to another level when a fan, who had joined her on stage during a Florida performance, revealed that she was bisexual.
On Sunday (December 19), Foota and Spice both entertained at the Galdies Promotion’s Bounce Musik Festival 2021 at the Genesis Outdoor Event Centre in Orlando. The two have been at odds ever since Spice accepted an invitation to headline the Pride Toronto Festival next June.
During Sunday’s performance, Spice called him out again, after a supporter, who joined her on stage, proclaimed that she wanted a ‘part-time’ female companion.
“Who see Foota Hype? Call him. Weh him deh? Cause him bombocl–t deh pon di show. Weh him deh? Because him gwaan like a my problem. Me want him tek up da problem yah,” the Romantic Mood artist began.
Spice then proceeded to ask the fan the entry fee she paid to see the show, to which she responded US$90.
The entertainer took her jeering a step further by making it known that Foota unknowingly pocketed money from a member of the LGBTQ community.
“Yuh see fi yuh $90, it pass through the promoter hand, and den it drop right inna Foota bloodcl–t picket. Big up yuhself. A just dat alone me have fun seh… look how much Sadomite inna the crowd. Look how much woman deh yah. Mi nuh business weh unuh wah do wid unuh self.”
In the tit for tat which started weeks ago, the producer demanded that Spice cancel her appearance at Pride Toronto and return any monies that have been paid to her.
He added that he was aware that, unlike her light-skinned colleague Shenseea, Spice was not being given the respect she deserved internationally, and that performing at the Toronto event would not further her bid for “glory”.
Spice has, however, stated that she does not discriminate against any of her fans. She also shared several photos of Foota posing in garments made by LGBTQ designers and called on him to desist.
Foota’s main Instagram account, with over 200,000 followers, has since been banned. Days later, he announced the launch of his “Str8 Nation” apparel line.
