Spice Surprises Mother With First Graci Noir Bag, Filled With Cash For Christmas

Dancehall Queen and entrepreneur Spice is about to launch her very own handbag line, and the So Mi Like It singer thought it best that the first recipient of one of her signature pieces should be her mother.

During Christmas Day’s festivities and gift exchange, she surprised her mother with a Graci Noir bag, filled with cash. The handbag line will be an addition to her Graci Noir clothing line, which the entertainer launched in October 2020.

In a heartwarming Instagram post, her mother could be seen unboxing the gift, while beaming with delight at the chocolate coloured piece that is complemented with gold accents.

“And just like that my Mama is the first woman with my newly designed brand hand bag from @gracinoir Coming soon ‼️ Let’s just say my Mama had a Merry Christmas 🙏🏽💙💙💙 Tag someone you think I should ship one of these bags to and why 👇🏿” she captioned the post.

The dancehall artist’s matriarch was also gifted a brand new iPhone, along with several other undisclosed gifts.

Since the launch of Graci Noir, Spice, whose given name is Grace Hamilton, has released an array of track suits, matching sets, bodysuits, T-shirts and hats.

In an interview with The Gleaner shortly after the debut of her clothing brand, Spice explained that her business was an homage to Black people, as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“I wanted to start something new that would also carry on my black roots. I wanted to represent my complexion in my line, and so that’s why I went with Noir, which is French for black”, she told the Jamaica Gleaner.

“Graci means thankful, and I am so thankful for the support that I have been getting from my fans and followers throughout the years,” she said. “Graci Noir reflects me as a strong, black woman and I want people to wear the brand and feel the same confidence that I feel when I put on these pieces. When you step out in Graci Noir, you need to feel that sense of confidence and boldness.”

Meanwhile, Spice’s fans were loving every bit of the gift exchange moment.
