Ojay On The Beat Talks ‘Combo Boss’

Music producer Ojay On The Beat has been gaining traction with one of his most recent productions, a song titled “Combo Boss” by recording artist Shanice.

The track, which was a collaborative effort with Slickwidit Productions, is her debut single and was officially released on December 17, 2021 on all digital platforms. However, it was dropped on YouTube on December 10 for the fans who requested an early release.

“This song is very raunchy, it has adult content that relates to one on one bedroom activities for adults 18 and above so it’s not an ‘E’ for everyone to intake,” the producer explained.

“With this type of release, most of the fans would hear the message in the track and think we are ‘just come’ music producers who are young to the business or don’t know what we are doing but it’s controversial, and it sells. Majority of the feedback has been fairly positive and so we are going to continue to do the work and put it out there,” the producer highlighted.

The connection with Shanice was made through popular disc jock DJ Shane through a Whatsapp conversation and the rest is history.

“I have high hopes and believe that this track can make it on the airwaves and we can continue to work with Ms.Wilson and expand on her talent, not just as a party promoter but also as a full time entertainer,” the producer expressed.

On his musical journey since 2012, Ojay On The Beat took the professional route in 2014/ 2015 when he began registering tracks and trademarks, giving credit to Davion Campbell from Blakyaad Productions who saw his talent and gave him a chance in music.

As a well rounded musician/music producer, he has worked on a number of productions of varying genres – Dancehall, Pop, Reggae, to name a few – and has released a host of new riddims in recent months such as The Shackles, Miles, Cheese, Herbalist and Paradise.

Expect much for the producer in the new year, including a new album and several other collaborations that will be announced in due time.
