The announcement of his girlfriend’s pregnancy in August last year put Gaza fans in an online frenzy when a photo of Likkle Vybz and a heavily pregnant young woman surfaced online.

Known to be a very supportive father and grandfather, Vybz Kartel shared a Christmas photo of the young family on boxing day. The ‘Worl Boss’ aptly captioned the photo “Happy Holidays from me Son, Daughter in Law & Grandson”.

likkle vybz In 2020, the Lucky Lucky artist silenced persons who criticized his other son Akheel Raheim Palmer, known as Likkle Addi, for impregnating an 18-year-old young woman, while he was only 15 years old at the time.  The Gaza boss said,  “Don’t worry bout’ those two millionaires. What the f*** you think I work so hard for? .#legacy”.

Kartel then sought to share the couple’s baby shower photos boasting about his soon-to-be grandchild, son and daughter-in-law; this caused further backlash from fans and heavy concern for the parents of the young woman.

The entire ordeal made good conversational topics on Jamaican radio programs, TV shows, YouTube blog channels and was the talk on the streets in the island for several weeks.  Many comments were not in favor of children having children, however, some drew comparisons between Likkle Addi showing up as a responsible father and grown Jamaican men who are delinquent as parents.

Likkle Vybz will celebrate his 19th birthday on April 18 of this year.

Vybz Kartel, 46, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is currently serving a life sentence for murder.  He’ll be eligible for parole in the mid-2040s if his conviction and sentence are upheld by the UK Privy Council.
