Shenseea Says She’s Single, Explains Why She Held Hands With London On Da Track At Super Bowl

Jamaican singer Shenseea had damage control duties over the weekend after being spotted again with American record producer London on da Track, this time at the Super Bowl.

As the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday night, photos emerged shortly after capturing Shenseea and London hand-in-hand, rekindling speculation about their involvement.

The Lick singer has, however, cleared the air about her relationship status.

She first headed to the comments section of a post shared by The Shade Room to explain the moment captured on Sunday.

“Maaaaynnee! He held my hand to save me from fallin man cho! [side eye frown emoji],” she wrote.

During the game Shenseea, 25, and London, 30, were seen hanging out amongst others celebs, first raising eyebrows when they were seen holding hands in the background of a video taken by their manager Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby. Though the video was blurry, it didn’t stop the Internet detectives from identifying them both, plus the Dancehall singer’s full blue getup wasn’t hard to miss.

On Monday, she took to Twitter re-affirm her single status.

“I love to see women get treated asf on Valentines Day 😩 even if I’m single asf,” she wrote.

‘Single’ as she may be, the Blessed singer had a pretty spectacular Valentine’s Day yesterday and shared every moment of her surprise treat on Instagram.

“Love it here ❤️,” she wrote on the post showing off what appeared to be a hotel room, completely decorated with candles, red roses and petals with a massive heart-shaped ornament made of balloons.

In the backdrop was a table set for two, together with a rose petal bath waiting in the distance. Not to be missed were her Givenchy gift bags, mini chocolate station and a love note to toast her on V-day.

The incident has brought up discussions online regarding London’s messy situation with Summer Walker, his on-again-off-again baby mother. While Summer is off enjoying her romance with LVRD Pharoh, this is the first time the public has seen London out with another woman since their split.

Many commented, saying Shenseea would end up being London’s fifth baby mama.

One person wrote, “Did she not hear Summer’s album? Lol.” Another said, “Lord, please don’t let the mothers start attacking her. They stressed Summer out.”

This isn’t the first time the two sparked dating rumors, since they were first spotted together in a studio in June 2021.

In August 2021, Shen and London caused a bit of a stir when they were candle shopping at the mall. London has also made a couple of trips to Jamaica in recent times, even ringing in the New Year on the island, taking in a few excursions and a dip in the river.

 

After teasing that she’d drop a new song with Savage 21 at the Super Bowl on Sunday, today the official audio track RU That, featuring the Atlanta-based rapper was released.

The single is expected to appear on Shensee’a upcoming debut studio album ALPHA, which is scheduled for release on March 11 via Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records.
