Silk Boss, Girlfriend ‘Brii’ Speak On Their Leaked Sex Tape, Voice Notes
Dancehall artist Silk Boss and girlfriend Sabreinna ‘Brii’ Williams are speaking out after the leak of their sex tape and some damning voice notes. The Mobay-based deejay has also released a new song Misunderstanding today about their relationship.
Brii, who is the CEO of Ice Queen Records, said the leaked sex tape, which made its way into the public space due to the malicious actions of an individual, constitutes a cybercrime and they will be filing a police report. “We are on it,” she told THE STAR.
As for the voice note that caught the two in what sounded like an abusive situation, Williams said, “the audio is a misunderstanding… the way the people put it out, they didn’t catch everything.”
“It wasn’t like how everybody think. He didn’t lay his hands on me. When things don’t go my way, I cry. Me and my boyfriend, we play rough… he knows me and he knows that I was going on like that over nothing,” she added.
Brii and the Dancehall entertainer, whose real name is Rohan Romeo Reid, have been in a relationship for almost a year now and she insists they are at a good place.
“Really and truly he didn’t lay a hand on me. Both the videos and the audio were from incidents that happened in December last year,” she explained. “When I realised that they were leaked, I was angry and upset. People have control of his account and that’s why these things are happening,” she continued.
Silk Boss refrained from addressing the matter directly but instead commented, “The Lord will protect … when the wicked try to rise up against me they stumble and fled. Right now, me just a do the music same way. That’s all me have to seh.”
The Mankind deejay’s PR manager, Georgia Wallace, told THE STAR that the situation is being handled while the deejay focuses on his music.
“We are trying to get this sorted out, but at the same time we are not giving the negatives any energy. Silk Boss is in studio right now and Brii is here with him and things are going great. He has a song being released on Friday that we know is going to make a huge impact, so we are here doing what matters most, the music,” Wallace stated.
In the meantime, the official audio for his new single Misunderstanding was released today (Wednesday, March 16) to spotlight a relationship that he refuses to let go of.
