Deep Jahi Hospitalised With An Undisclosed Illness
Dancehall and Reggae artist Deep Jahi has been hospitalized with an undisclosed illness.
Yesterday, the Private Party singer sparked concern when he shared an Instagram photo of himself hooked up to an IV, and wearing a black face mask on a hospital bed.
Deep Jahi told DancehallMag that he had been battling the undisclosed illness for over four years. “Mi ah come on good right now, I don’t want to share the exact nature of the sickness yet until mi fully recover, but I hope to be out in four to six weeks,” Deep Jahi said.
The former Magnum Kings and Queens winner thanked the fans for their heartfelt prayers and tremendous support.
“I am overwhelmed with joy to know that so many people reached out to me and are praying for me, and I want to let them know that I will be coming back ten times stronger,” he added.
The entertainer, known for his conscious and gritty lyrics, has solidified a decent following over the years with his conscious brand of music.
He released an EP called Gifted last year.
