Shenseea Shares Thoughts On Fake Orgasms

“STOP faking orgasms! Let these n-ggas see they aint good as they thought!” Jamaican singer Shenseea tweeted on Tuesday (April 19) and later re-shared with her 5.4 million Instagram followers.

She followed up with, “Words from an #ALPHA” in the comments section of the post, which has since racked up just under 90k Likes and over 2.3k female-supported comments.

While there’s no telling what inspired the Lick singer’s tweet, her statement has come amid a confession from the wife of The Breakfast Club host DJ Envy, who revealed that she faked orgasms during a Shade Room interview.

The Power 105 DJ and his wife Gia Casey candidly spoke with the outlet about their past “toxic” relationship, according to reports by Mens Health and The Source Magazine. It was then that Casey admitted to faking orgasms with her husband for a whole decade.

“We would be intimate and he would be putting his best foot forward like, he is in the business of satisfying just all around. He lives to make me happy, and he puts his best foot forward in that role,” Casey said.

She then added, “So I would see him trying and really going to work, and I’m sure many women can relate, you want to reward that man for that work and the only reward that you have to offer is an orgasm. And even if I didn’t feel it, I would still be performative.”

Envy responded to Casey’s admission, saying, “It hurt me because I thought I was pleasing my wife. You hear all these stories about women talking about their girlfriend ‘Oh girl he was so short, oh girl he ain’t doin’ nothin’, and I feel like they laughing, and now I feel like that’s what my wife is doing.”

Shenseea, who has visited with The Breakfast Club and with co-host Angela Yee on Lip Service, has been open in the past about her relationship woes and not putting up with a man’s shortcomings.

She also has the same stance in many of her tracks notably, RU That featuring 21 Savage, Lick, Rebel, Trending Gyal and similarly with others like Be Good, Foreplay, Tie Me Up that instructs men how to please her. It’s not unexpected that she’d be so troubled about the topic.

Meanwhile, Shenseea’s fans that came out in their numbers to share their opinions on her PSA post were in full endorsement of her statement.

“Some of them boring. And only concern about themselves,” said one IG follower, whose comment got 247 Likes.

Another person added, “No more courtesy moans! 🗣🗣🗣,” while this person pondered why she had been lying to men all this time, “I was just thinking abt this last night… I need to stop lying,” she wrote.
