Konshens’ Pregnant Wife Latoya Spence Found After She Was Reported Missing In Miami

Latoya Ameik Spence (nee Wright), the wife of Dancehall star Konshens, has been found after she was listed as a missing person by the Miami Police Department.

Officer Vega of the Miami PD confirmed with DancehallMag that the 41-year-old businesswoman was found at a local hospital.  “She was reported missing because she was not seen in two days,” Vega also said.  “Detectives thought she was in danger.”

In a Tweet on April 27, the Miami police had said they were searching for Spence after she went missing from the Edgewater area.  According to the cops, Spence is four months pregnant and had been last seen on Monday wearing a black sweater and shorts at around 3 p.m.  “She is 5’5”, 145 lbs. and was last seen driving a 2017 Matte Black Jeep Wrangler with oversized tires,” they added.

Vega said that cops treated the matter with urgency because she was reportedly pregnant.  He could not confirm who exactly reported her missing but said, “We don’t normally ask for details, it could be anybody, a family member or acquaintance. We do a check and they do a report.”

However, in an Instagram post today, Konshens confirmed that he had made the report and that Spence was safe and recovering from an accident.

“She had an accident and got admitted without my knowledge,” he explained.

“Realising she was not responding to calls and texts I started calling around to hospitals. After calling all hospitals in the area and them all saying no patient by that name was there, I had no choice but to alert the police.”

Konshens continued, “The police did their own search and found out that she was indeed admitted.  She was already found before the news alert went out but it was already in motion.”

“Many thanks for all the calls and prayers.  She is now in recovery with no serious injuries. Give thanks,” he added. “This is a tuff time for our family and I will appreciate all the privacy we can get at this time.”

Konshens, 37, whose real name is Garfield Delano Spence, and Latoya tied the knot on November 19, 2017, at the Fort Lauderdale Marriot Harbour Beach Resort and Spa in Florida.  Their son Liam is 6 years old and Konshens also has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship.
