Ricco Ras Releases New Song ‘Bad Man Bad’
Emerging dancehall deejay Ricco Ras’s latest single is ‘Bad Man Bad’.
“The feed forward on the song has been great so far, anytime anybody see me in the streets, dem shout out ‘bad man bad’, is like a new slang in the street. The video already gone thousands of views, and the youths from the ghetto ah work with it,” Ricco Ras said.
The single was released on March 25th on the Gold Plaque Entertainment label, along with grimy visuals.
Ricco Ras has been building his reputation one stage show at a time. He recently performed on shows such as Up to the Line, and Best Life That Mi a Pree in Delacree Park.
Ricco Ras is booked to perform at the PCP Talent show at West Kings House Road on April 30th.
He is known for his debut single, ‘Tek Go Off’ which was produced by talented producer CJtheChemist for the 1Matik rhythm on the Chemist Records/Raheef Music Group labels.
A former road manager and entertainment insider, Ricco Ras is relishing his new role as a dancehall artiste. The artiste, whose real name is Rick Foster, grew up in the community of Duppy Gully in Stony Hill, St. Andrew and then later moved to the district of Rocky Valley. He attended St. Andrew Technical High school where he excelled at metalwork.
After leaving high school, he got involved in the music business, doing street promotions such as Vershon and then acted as a road manager for several other artistes.
