Dancehall star Dexta Daps delivered a marquis performance at the Bellevue Music fest held in the OutDoor Venue at The Genasis Event Center in Orlando, Florida last week.

The Shabba Madda Pot singer wowed the females in the audience with a steady stream of his hits such as Bring It To the Owner, and Breaking News.

“Ladies, could you be my choir please?” he asked at one point during the performance, and the women responded in earnest, taking over his performance in long stretches.

He worked every square inch of the stage, interacting with his audience, touching their outstretched hands, while he serenaded them on songs such as ‘WiFi’, ‘7Eleven’ and the perennial crowd favourite, ‘Call Me If’.

“Mi waan try some new things, mi feel inna one vibe,” he said, as he launched into a new song, Slippery A Way, and ‘If Yu Nah Chap It’.

Dexta Daps himself feigned surprise at the enthusiastic reaction to his new songs.

“Watch her, she know the whole ah the song dem,” he said at one point as one girl in particular seemed to be singing each song with gusto.

The excitement in the venue reached fever pitch as he delivered ‘Breaking News’.

“Can my sweet vagina girls scream for me please?” he asked. The women obliged as he launched into the song, and when the girls drowned out his vocals as they sang ‘just poison him’, and Dexta Daps interjected ‘don’t do that ladies’, and they screamed in unison, forcing him to pull up the song.

He earned forwards for an energetic rendition of ‘7Eleven’, and the combination with Tifa called ‘Jealous Ova’. The girls attempted to drag him off the stage, and he flirted with them, declaring cheekily: “Ah the wrong foot yu a grab, ah the third leg yu fi grab.”

The girls railed. He invited a girl onstage and danced energetically with her to ‘Bring it to the Owner’.

Bellevue Music recording artiste Iyara was in fine form on the night as well. Dressed in full white with a red jacket, he hit the stage and delivered a spicy 12 minute set with bangers such as Pressure Cooker, Naa Dweet, Never Bad Gyal, and earned his first forward with Live Cash.

He kept the energy blazing with ‘Rich and Wealthy’ and the crowd favourite, ‘Yaadman Up Inna Farrin’. He deejayed a new song called ‘Mi Love Top Gal’ on a Turkey in the Straw instrumental often used on ice cream trucks that got a few forwards from the large audience, especially when he invited a buxom girl to join him onstage.
