Skillibeng Taps Fivio Foreign, French Montana In New Video For ‘Whap Whap’
Skillibeng’s Whap Whap takes on new heights with added features from Fivio Foreign and French Montana on a newly released remix. The track arrived with a new Shomi Patwary-directed music video on Tuesday (June 7) to show the three in the busy metropolitan streets of Bronx, New York.
The Dancehall ‘Fresh Prince’ couldn’t have been filmed in a better setting for the video, as he and his entourage were treated to cleared streetways for a day of dirt bike and ATV stunt riding – a favorite past time for the deejay back in his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica.
Skillibeng kicks off the Wizical Beatz and DeeJay Pun-produced banger with his signature gritty flows reminding all, “ah suh mi gun sound when it clap, whap whap whap whap whap whap … .”.
Fivio picks up the narrative and spins his Brooklyn swag, “I made a body gotta drop, bow bow, gunshot.” While Montana came packing with slick effervescent raps, “whap whap whap, K man with the Glock, keep one eye on me, Fetty Wap … ”
The single Whap Whap originally features F.S., and appears on Skillibeng’s Mr. Universe EP that also features Popcaan and Rich The Kid. Since its premiere back in early March, the track has amassed over 13 million YouTube views and sampled twice by Bronx drill rapper Ron Suno and NBA Young Boy Never Broke Again.
