KipRich Loves The ‘Rich Look’
Dancehall artist Kip Rich is gearing up for a hot Summer with his latest single, Rich Look featuring dancers Pata Skeng and KoolKid. The easy-to-do dance move has been dominating dancehalls all over the Corporate Area for the past month.
“Everybody ah ketch the Rich Look,” a happy KipRich said.
“The feed forward has been great, every night, the dancers in the streets doing the Rich Look, ah the hottest dance right now. Every night, the dance dem a shell wid the Rich Look dance, big up the dancers dem.”
The dance was conceptualized by well-known dancer Pata Skeng, who is known for dances such as Dip and the Touch dance.
“Dancer Pata Skeng came with the Rich Look idea, and we went to the studio and he showed me the new dance idea and mi just find the song, and then KoolKid jumped on it when the song was almost done, and we moved his part to the front of the song. Then we drop it and it just connect in the streets. Viral!” Kip Rich said.
The single was produced by Sofocus Entertainment. The visuals for the project premiered on June 3rd.
“Everybody can ketch the Rich Look dance, it’s simple, and easy fi do, when dem drop the dance, anno nothing normal in the streets, it ah run road,” he said.
He recently teamed up with singer D’Yani for the single, Gyalis Astrology, whose visuals racked up more than 930,000 views on Youtube.
Kip Rich is generating a lot of bookings this Summer and his upcoming shows include All White Affair on June 12th in Brooklyn, New York, and Joe Grind in Orlando, Florida on July 30th and Happiness on August 6th in Queens. His bookings are handled by Donsome Entertainment.
