Beenie Man, Bounty Killer Celebrate Success Of Fake IG Beef
Bounty Killer and Beenie Man pulled off the stunt of stunts on Tuesday, to drum up support for a show which was being staged by Dancehall Queen Carlene at the Meca Nightclub to raise funds for cancer patients.
The show, dubbed Volume I, The Icon Edition Celebrating the Legends, was promoted as the two legends sharing the stage together. Beenie and Bounty had started the manufactured “beef” yesterday, several hours before the event was to be staged.
Bounty had initially shared the flyer for the event on his Instagram page, but it appeared to have not caught the interest of his followers as only a few responded.

Bounty Killer was the first to get the “almshouse” rolling taking to his Instagram page to state that Beenie had insulted him at Reggae Sumfest.
“@kingbeenieman, you dissed me the other night outright at Sumfest, bout Bounty killer mi nuh trust yu. Go trust yuh family dawg. It’s only because I was well-focused on the assignment why I didn’t buy into it then you would have heard that I spoiled the man tribute with personal feelings, So people unuh ask Beenie what is he seeking if he wants to take it back to rivals or be idols bcuz we can start it at MECA CLUB tonight then since him love f_ckery,” he noted.
While artists like Christopher Martin pleaded for the two “not to take the unity out of the community”, Popcaan on the other hand egged on the war, noting: “bwoy fi dead, its been a long time.”
As the fake quarrel continued, Beenie Man then responded in his Instagram stories, tagging Bounty Killer and noting: “See you at Meca tonight” in his first post and then adding: “whappen to Bounty #MeCaTonight” in the other.
He then added another, where he shared Bounty’s post and stated: “Weh oonu seh, VERZUZ part few at Meca later?”
In another, he shared a video of himself performing at Harry Toddlers’ birthday party singing Hypocrite, and noted: “This is why I don’t trust Bounty”.
Beenie Man then further embellished the pretend feud, sharing a photo of himself and Bounty Killer in performance at Reggae Sumfest and said among other things, that Bounty had dissed him at Harry Toddler’s birthday party and that he had made it “slide”.
He went on to note that he had linked Bounty’s manager Paul “Bankey” Giscombe, to ask why Bounty was mad at him, claiming that the former Specs/Shang executive had said that Bounty did not want to share the stage with him until Reggae Sumfest.
He then said that Bounty did not even hail him at a charity football match and gave him bad energy at Sumfest rehearsals.
Continuing the drama, Beenie said that Bounty was “in his feelings” and did not want to give him an explanation, and therefore he had lost trust in him.
The two brought the pretense to a crescendo when Bounty declared that he and Beenie were no longer friends “as of today” and that the King of the Dancehall should stay away from him.
“Who the f_ck you be that me gonna hail you.. so unity gone. Anything a anything, yu bad Beenie,” he wrote among other things.
However, early this morning the two removed the posts with Bounty making a post of himself and Beenie performing together at the show, pointing out that the online quarrel was a hoax aimed at ensuring that Carlene’s event gained maximum support including from those who wanted to see them at war.
“Oops thought I told y’all It was maturity and growth doing it now sorry for all who was looking for that negativity Iconic Legends at their best the club was sold tonight 🥂🍾🥃😅😂🤣🥹🥲🥲🤣😅,” he stated mockingly, while referring to a recent post by himself about his now more-mature self.
In response, Beenie noted: “Heart ah love mi bredda ❤️ fwd neva backward 🙏🏿”.
“Such is right higher heights bredda🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾,” the Warlord noted.
