Alkaline’s ‘Profile’ Didn’t Bring Expected Heat But The Cover Art Did
With Sting fast approaching, Champion Boy Alkaline has had fans on the lookout for a weighty track aimed at one or more of his industry rivals. His latest track, Profile, immediately connects as a club banger on a catchy up-tempo beat.
Like his recently released Seh We Great and Lone Madness, the song, produced by Troyton Rami Music, Black Shadow and Autobamb Records, is void of conflict but rather a tune about living the “high profile” life.
However, the track’s accompanying cover art by SoSiq.Ink has stirred some speculation that it references fellow artists Squash, Masicka, Vybz Kartel and Popcaan.

In SoSiq’s animation, Alkaline’s targets have each been dealt a hand of cards on a simulated poker table.
Cards numbers 3, 3, 9 adds up as 6’9 which is assumed to be the “6ixx Boss” Squash.
4, 3, 8 is “Masicka” which represents his debut studio album 438. The Top Form deejay is the only one, besides Alkaline, with chips remaining.
The King of clubs, which is marked up “behind bars”, and card numbers 3 and 5 are none other than the incarcerated “Worl Boss” Vybz Kartel, who was initially sentenced to 35 years in prison.
And finally, the pair of jokers is assumed to be Unruly Boss “Popcaan”.
Of course, Alkaline’s hand sits at the center of the table with a Jack of spade and Ace of spade with dozens of chips and stacks of cash.
Dancehall fans are still waiting on an official release of ‘all’ the booked acts that will be performing at Sting this year. So far the promoters have been issuing morsels of show’s lineup, which includes Jahshii, Skeng, Shaneil Muir, Stalk Ashley, Moyann, and Silk Boss – who was confirmed today.
