Demarco Warns He’s ‘Big Bad & Brave’ In New Song: Watch

Dancehall artist Demarco flexes his lyrical forte to talk gore and gunplay in his latest release Big Bad & Brave. The new recording, which was produced by Nxxo dropped on September 9 via True Gift Entertainment with accompanying visuals.

Alongside videographer HD Genesis, Demarco sat in the director’s chair for the making of the mini film, which plots him as the focus of an underground poker game. The high-roller is surrounded by heavily armed recruits and skimpily dressed dancers in a dimly lit basement engulfed in smoke as he asserts, “Mi nuh fraid a no bwoy … mi big bad and brave”.

In the track, Demarco has set his targets on the ones he calls “Rats” … “look wah dem do fi cheese,” and warns “Pvssy yuh fi bleed.” This will be no ordinary war he cautions his nemesis, as he brings more to the table than a “Bag a chip,” stating, “Big man have brains and grains”.

The track continues with witty word plays and rhymes, yet is completely spiked with promises of vile threats. Similar to his latest tracks, Fully Active, Bat A Fly, and No Remorse, the new release Big Bad & Brave finds Demarco in a gangster’s state of mind – a far cry from the usually lighter narratives in his musical arsenal but the fans are here for it.

“Boom 🔥🔥🔥🔥, I feel dis, the vibration in me was goin off,” said one fan on YouTube. Others joined in to rave about Demarco’s talent; “Demarco know how to make music 🇯🇲🔥,” and “Demarco is in his own lane‼️,” they said. Another person added, “Plz stop sleepin on this man he come out wit a hit everytime!! Demarco big up urself Mi Geee!!”

In a clip vibing to his new track shared on Instagram, Demarco’s Dancehall colleagues, including I-Octane, Prohgres, Tanya Stephens, Nicky B, Red Rat and more, lit up the comments with fire-blazing emojis to also signal high salutes to Big Bad & Brave – press play on visuals above.
