Jamaican producer Rvssian shared the news that his right arm was broken after attempting to hop off a moving truck, seemingly while on a music video shoot.

On a “how it started vs how it ended” clip shared to Instagram and soundtracked to Kraff’s Sleep Walk , Rvssian was enjoying a ride on the side of the truck before attempting to jump off the back, while it was still moving. He was later seen with his arm in a sling.

Based on an x-ray image, the arm is broken just below the shoulder.

Despite his discomfort, the Nuh Fear riddim producer has made the most of the situation and is certainly proving that injuries can be fashionable.

In another post, he is decked out in a tuxedo and a Louis Vuitton sling. “I crashed this wedding & broke my arm 🤦🏻‍♂️” he wrote.

International singer Bia couldn’t help but comment on his unique sense of style.

“Woww you are elite that is a fire cast 😂🔥 “ she said.

“Man mek mi waa bruk my hand to! Clean yf 🔥🔥🔥” said @1gingsing.

@kyligold added “I’ve never seen a broken arm more dapper”

“Bro is drippin straight from the hospital 😂Rvssian flex like young thug,” @omarmastakii said.

The work continues as both he and Skeng posted a photo to tease an impending song.

“Me dawg switch up so me put the switch pon the Glock 💥 @skeng.don”

Just this year, the producer, whose given name is Tarik Johnston scored big after his 2021 track Nostálgico, which featured American singer Chris Brown and Puerto Rican rapper Rauw Alejandro, was certified 5x Latin Multi-Platinum in the United States.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Nostálgico has reached the sales and streaming equivalent of 300,000 units sold in the country.  The RIAA’s Latin Program recognizes successful albums and singles in the US that are more than 50% Spanish language.

The song’s video was directed by Edgar Esteves (Russ, G-Eazy, Nicki Minaj, J-balvin) and it takes place at a house party reminiscent of pre-pandemic party times. Rvssian is seen arriving with a girl and entering the house. Unlike many of his previous music videos, he is prominently featured all throughout Nostálgico as he flirts with a love interest. At times, he even sings, like back in his Straight Jeans And Fitted days with Vybz Kartel.

This was the third Rvssian song to receive a Latin RIAA certification.

His 2017 track Si Tu Lo Dejas, which featured Bad Bunny, Farruko, Nicky Jam, and King Kosa, is currently certified 6X Multi-Platinum Latin for sales exceeding 360,000 units.

Privado, released in 2016 with Nicky Jam, Farruko, Arcangel, and Konshens, is currently certified 3X Multi-Platinum Latin for sales exceeding 180,000 units.
