Future Fambo Mourns Death Of His 85 Year-Old Mother On Christmas Eve
Dancehall artist Future Fambo is mourning the death of his mother, 85 year-old Phoebe Henry, who passed away at her home in Parry Town, St. Ann on Christmas Eve.
“She lived a good life,” Future Fambo told DancehallMag.
The artist, who is best known for his Beenie Man collab, Rum & Red Bull (2010) and his Bloodclaute Song (2015), described the news as “mind-blowing” as it happened at what many consider ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ – Christmas.
“Ah God take her, is a woman who know the bible right and left, she knew a lot of scripture. She was the kindest woman I ever knew. “She lived right in front of the post office, everyone know her and love her. Bwoy, mi ah go miss her,” she said.
She died leaving behind her three children, Fambo, his brother Sunny and his sister, Del. She was the sister of Zac Henry, three-time Festival Song winner with the Astronauts.
