Aidonia, Wife Kimberly Megan Expecting Baby Boy

Dancehall artist Aidonia and his wife Kimberly are expecting a baby boy!

The pair, who have been married since September 2016, held an invite-only baby shower and gender reveal on Sunday (September 24, 2023).

The anxious couple, who opted to learn the gender of the baby by releasing smoke from a canister, were pleased with the results with Kim jumping for joy, while her deejay husband decided to “buss blanks.”

The attendees also shared in the excitement.

This is remarkable news for the pair who tragically lost their nine-year-old son, King Khalif to cancer last December. 

Following Khalif’s passing, numerous Dancehall artists had sent condolences to Aidonia, including his mentor Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Macka Diamond, Shenseea, and Popcaan. 

Aidonia, whose real name is Sheldon Lawrence, announced Kim’s second pregnancy during his set at the recently held Chris Brown and Friends concert in Kingston.

Of course, the news that the couple will be having a boy warmed the hearts of many social media supporters.

“This is what you called reincarnation. CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM BOTH,” one Instagram user said.

Over on X the comments also emanated pure joy.

“Aidonia and Kim having another boy and I really could just cry 😩” said one user.

“Just saw the Kim and Aidonia video and me naw lie tears fulllll up mi eyes! God a God enuh. He knew what they needed and it was all his plan. Happy for them ♥️,” another added.

Meanwhile, another well-wisher said, “So happy for Aidonia and  Kim, they deserve all the peace in the world. Safe landing to them and their baby boy.”
