Shaneil Muir Hits Back At Criticism After Going Instagram Official With Fiancé
The ‘Top Gyal’ Shaneil Muir has come out in complete defense of her fiancé after some naysayers shared negative comments about him when she revealed his identity last week.
The Black Is Beautiful singer addressed the comments during a performance at the O2 Arena in London on November 26.
“Mi post mi man di odda day, an’ a neva every gyal cup a tea, but a my cup a coffee dat,” she said before rendering Tanya Stephens’ Boom Wuk .
The 25-year-old posted a selfie with her beau smiling from ear to ear as he wrapped his arm around her.
She captioned the post, “Thank you for loving me ♥️,” but based on the comments (that are now turned off), some social media users were underwhelmed.
The Exclusive singer appeared unfazed by the negativity. She began throwing subliminal responses at all the ‘haters’ in subsequent posts. “Me looking at y’all comments about my handsome chocolate FIANCÉ,” she said.
Muir has always been loud about her fiancé. Earlier this year, she publicly thanked him, along with other team members, for their support as she launched a salon and hair care company inside the Catherine Hall Plaza in Montego Bay.
“Wheew! I have been working on this HANDS-ON! For the past three months. Firstly before we even get to that part I want to thank the Heavenly Father for ALL he has done, is doing and is about to do. I am forever grateful and thankful through all things,” she wrote at the time.
She added: “I also want to thank him for blessing me with the PERFECT HUMAN BEING (my fiancé💍) GOD IS GOOD 🙏🏾,” she continued. “Thank you baby for being there ALL THE WAY THROUGH – I love you ❤️.”
Muir came to prominence in the Dancehall space just over two years ago with the release of her hit single Yamabella, and followed up with an amalgam of hardcore and inspirational tracks, including Ride It with Vybz Kartel, Top Gyal, 3D, and Exclusive.
