Byron Messia, Shenseea, Teejay, Jada Kingdom And More For Hot97’s Winter Jam 2023
Jamaican artists Byron Messia, Teejay, Shenseea, Jada Kingdom, Ding Dong and Nadg are all on the lineup for this year’s staging of Hot 97’s Winter Jam.
Slated for December 30, 2023, at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, music lovers will also be treated to performances by headliners Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Lola Brooke.
This is yet another big, international stage that Shenseea will be performing on, after showing her talent at Coachella. Earlier this year, she also joined The Chainsmokers for a performance at Los Angeles State Historic Park.
She’s also featured in rapper Busta Rhymes’ newest album which was released on November 24, 2023. Shenyeng, alongside R&B sensation Chris Brown lend their vocals on Open Wide.
So far, the official audio has received just over 100,000 streams on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Teejay has been making rounds for himself, largely thanks to his summer hit Drift . There will be a Drift remix with Afrobeat superstar Davido, whom the St. James native visited in Nigeria recently.
Jada Kingdom has been doing her thing where music is concerned. Her year was, however, filled with a bit of controversy. Rumors were swirling that she and the African Giant Burna Boy were an item, but she denied it. Nowadays, it is alleged that she is involved with New York rapper/songwriter Pardison Fontaine, who defended her in his new track Thee Person.
Byron Messia ranked sixth on Billboard’s Year-End Reggae Albums Artists chart, while Ding Dong teamed up with Sean Paul and Davido for the Unavailable remix just over two months ago.
Nadg has teased a forthcoming track titled Gyal Magnet for release soon.
